My son is in the Army currently stationed at Fort Novosel, AL. He has orders to transfer to Fairbanks, AK. Given that he still has a loan on his truck, the shipping company requires a letter from the credit union giving him permission to ship his truck. After many days, phone calls talking with people who "have never heard of such a thing", his request was denied! We are co-signers on the loan! The credit union is denying him permission to ship his truck to his new post! Is that even legal I find it repulsive that they treat members of the military this way!! I do NOT recommend this credit union to ANYONE!

Always have had a great relationship with my branch in Geneva. I was overdrawn once and had several transactions and I just talked to them about it and they charged me for one which I thought was more than kind . I will say this that It's easy to overlook being overdrawn on the mobile app. That could be improved.

I opened a child's account and the Avadian and the bank clerk assured me there was no way for my child to overdraw the account. That was about as far from the truth as you could get. Avadian charged a $30 per transaction 'courtesy pay fee' on about ten small transactions. Then without notice they withdrew the fees and amounts overdrawn out of my personal account. I didn't know any of this was going on until the withdraw from my personal account. I went in to close the child's account that had a zero balance and they charged me another fee of almost $140 to close the account, called it attorney fees. They refused to disclose the attorney they paid the fee to. They refused to give me written conformation that the account was closed. I asked the branch manager for a copy of the paper I originally signed saying they could do what they had done and she said I would need a court subpoena to get a copy.
