Such a cool adventure! We went with our cub scout pack and camped two nights, really clean well maintained grounds. Mr. Ken was awesome and kept us all laughing! He went above and beyond for our kiddos to make sure they had a wonderful experience!!! Our pack found tons of teeth and fossils at the creek, if your looking for a fun educational trip for your group/pack this is a great time!

We greatly enjoyed our visit with our 3+5 year old and will definitely be back, next time incl. tent for camping! There is a basic toilet/shower setup, firepit and whole lot of calm. Activities besides the obvious sharp teeth excursion includes swimming in the catfish pond + ziplining for the kids (not a steep or fast ride, children up to 10 years of ago may think it is fun).

Always a great time!

Bring a jacket for when you're standing around listening to the history and the instructions. You can leave it in the car when you go down to the creek. Wear wet shoes or boots, and clothes that can get wet and dirty. Bring a change of clothes and shoes, for yourself as well as your kids, and several warm towels to leave in the car when you return to the hilltop. Bring plastic bags for shark teeth and wet clothes. No concessions, so bring snacks or lunch in the car.

When the children get down to the creek, they will be wading in the creek collecting shark teeth...or if your kid is anything like mine, diving into the creek. They will pick their 10 favorites to take home as a souvenir. T-shirts are also available for purchase.

Mr. Ken is a wonderful storyteller and engages the children at every turn. I've been twice and there was even more magic and mystery this time. This place is such a treasure.

I regret I didn't take many photos at the creek itself, but I had put my phone in my backpack while we were in the water for fear of dropping it.

Our family visited Shark Tooth Creek because it popped up on the dark sky map as being a place far away from most light pollution. However, we called ahead and Mr. Ken told us all about the activities that go on during the tour and so we brought our whole family and some friends with little ones. We camped outside in a nice, clean area with immediate access to showers, bathrooms, pavilion, and some deluxe propane cooking grills. He also allowed us to fish his catfish ponds and we caught several 2-4 pounders all day. That evening we enjoyed the night sky in the darkness a New Moon provides, with breathtaking views. The next morning we loaded up, cooked breakfast, and listened to Mr. Ken's presentation before going down to the creek to pick up fossilized shark teeth. On the return to camp, the kids and even parents played and swam before calling it a day. Hope the best of success for Mr. Ken and recommend Shark Tooth Creek to anyone who'll listen until we return ourselves for some more night sky views.

Great family fun experience and totally doable for most any age. I'm 63 and recently finished chemo and one short down/up was easily managed.
My husband and I enjoyed walking the creek as much as any kids present!

Mr. Ken provides education and fun fun entertaining commentary throughout the morning and ride to the creek.
The lake -- kayaking, paddle boards, swimming -- available, but we didn't really partake. It was well organized and everything geared towards customers!
