In pursuit of great fly fishing on the Little Red River, a Buddy and I visited Beau’s Marina and Guide Service - first time in Arkansas for me. We stayed in Cabin 2 - phenomenal. Perfectly appointed and directly on the River. In addition to a great property on a great river with great fish, what really shines on this whole experience is the personalized attention owners Beau and Renee Saunders provide. They both are absolute rock stars.
I know guest service well, having spent 4+ decades at Disney - Beau and Renee go above and beyond at every turn.
I could not have been more impressed. Beau is the best guide I’ve ever fished with - hands down. And he knows the River intimately - and what a tricky river it is! I felt safe and we caught a bunch of trout on the fly over 3 days.
And Renee is the master of all and really sweet and thoughtful.

We will definitely be back soon!!

My husband and I loved our little cabin. Super comfortable couch and beds! Lots of streaming channels to stream from. Peaceful porch. Beau was our fishing guide and he was so patient and friendly. My husband knows how to trout fish but I did not - Beau helped me learn how to cast and I caught at least 10 fish! We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The cabin was well equipped with everything we need (from towels to spices for our cooking.) The Little Red River was incredible for fishing. We rented a boat for the whole day for a ridiculously inexpensive price and had so much fun exploring. I almost didn’t leave a review because this hidden gem is like a secret you don’t want to share. I can’t recommend highly enough!

So the lady who left a review before me “heather g”. She is in fact an employee that was fired during my stay there. Not gonna go into detail but she was fired due something that made us contact management and we explain are issue. The owners/ management went above and beyond to fix the issue and to make things right. If it wasn’t for the management making things right, our vacation could’ve turned into a bad trip. But because the management was so on point about everything and making sure that we were happy that our vacation ended up being one for the memory book. I’ve been going here for 30 years since I was a child and I’ve never had a problem. The new management now and it’s even better than it was. I can’t say enough good things about this place. That Heather girl is dead wrong for what she’s done and then on top of it to leave these hard working good people a bad review knowing that she got fired for something she was in the wrong for.

Thanks go out to Beau and his team at the Marina at Lobo Landing/Beau’s Guide Service for making our recent family get-together everything we hoped it would be.There were 3 couples on our trip and we enjoyed two half-days of fishing. Despite each of us being at different skill levels (including beginners), our guides, Beau and Robert, took care of each of us every step of the way. It is hard to imagine anyone knowing the Little Red as well as they do. We felt safe and in good hands on the river. And, yes, we all caught our fair share of trout which the guides were kind enough to clean for us so we could have amazing cookouts on our vacation, and we took some fish home for yet one more great cookout as a celebration of our trip.

We also had the good fortune of staying in their recently updated “bunkhouse.” This is a spacious cabin just a few steps to the river and the Marina. The cabin is close enough to the river where you can wake up and be on the boat fishing about 3 minutes later. Here are some of the highlights of the bunkhouse: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 11 or 12 beds (two of which are queen size), nicely supplied kitchen, washer/dryer, AC, grills and smoker, dining table, large family room/den, fire pit, and plenty of outside seating including a porch swing. It was perfect for our family’s three-night stay.

Beau and his crew are the best around and will treat you like family. These guys will literally give you their jackets when it was cold. Great places to stay and amazing fishing they know how to get you on the water and will habe you laughing till you cry all while catching fish. It is a day or week you will never forget. Very veteran friendly.

We stayed here on fathers day weekend. It was HOT but we had a very nice time. The cabins are well appointed and clean (some are more rustic than others) so please keep that in mind when booking. We had the double cabin with connecting room/balcony as cabin #1 was booked 🙁 The cabin had a lot of amenities and the marina has a nicely stocked little store with a diner. The food at diner was amazing and fresh and the staff/owners are super nice people that seem to be very hands on. The overall atmosphere was very family friendly and peaceful. The fish were not biting that weekend but the kids still enjoyed the boat and dock fishing. I would highly recommend this place over others in this area in a heartbeat. Very nice, very clean, very friendly.

We rented cabin #11 a 1 bdrm with a beautiful view of the river. The fish weren't biting, but the time there was so peaceful and beautiful. We almost extended our stay another night we enjoyed it so much. Only problem was the ants that decided they needed our sweets more than we did.
