If I could give 100 stars I would!! We had an amazing stay at Shell Lake Lodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit.

This place is more than perfect for hockey families-plenty of space for the kids to play and make memories. I have never been to a hotel that encourages hockey families let alone offer knee hockey sets for the kids to use. They truly understand the needs of athletes and their families, which made our stay stress free.

Extremely kid friendly, with great amenities and a relaxed environment that made traveling with little ones a breeze. We’ll definitely be back for our next tournament!! Highly recommend!

We came in for Breathe Conference hosted by Shell Lake Full Gospel & decided to stay here due to the facility being under new ownership. What a world of difference! They're in the process of upgrading... The management & staff are helpful, kind & courteous. The pools are working, clean & well-maintained (there's a main pool with a slide, kiddie wading pool & hot tub.) Complimentary breakfast was nice this morning. Worth the cost. Will recommend to others. Will stay here again!

We were in town for a hockey game. The facility is well run, and very respectful being that we were the opposing team. The rooms were clean, the hotel had a place for the team to hang out in the evening to eat, there was also a place for the parents to grab a drink or two, plus the breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Highly recommend!

We booked the Shell Lake lodge for our hockey team playing in the Spooner Tournament. The lodge was clean. The staff was accommodating. They set up the conference room so our kids could play knee hockey. They have a great gathering area with a bar. Very comfortable environment. Pool area was nice. Highly recommend for team events!

Amazing! Clean, cozy & close to the Spooner hockey rink! Everyone we came in contact with was fantastic! Beautiful holiday decor. Has a little bar area. Didn't use the pool & stuff, but it looked clean & inviting. Great breakfast. Great parking, felt safe, with the doors locking at 10 pm.

The Shell Lake Lodge is a wonderful getaway place. The staff was wonderful. Especially the GM Bill, who personally helped me with my checkout.
The rooms are clean and they have a small bar area so you don't have to go out in the cold.
Thanks to everyone there, it was a pleasure staying the week. I will definitely stay again when I return for another business trip.

We have never experienced hospitality like this, it felt like we were staying with family for the weekend. It was very hockey family friendly and it made all of the difference! Going above and beyond doesn’t begin to describe our stay. We are very appreciative!

We stayed here for our hockey tournament in Spooner for the weekend. Check in was great, staff was very welcoming, and the hotel was very clean. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. It was very cold outside, but the hotel was very warm at all times. Kids enjoyed the pool also. Lots of options for the breakfast in the morning which started at 7am. Overall, would definitely recommend. If we have another tournament in Spooner, we would stay here again. The drive was 11 mins to the rink and there are some food options nearby also. Ally Cats coffee had good coffee and breakfast (everything bagel was delicious!) with a drive thru, Economart grocery and there was even a nice store called Spooner Outlet. Thank you Shell Lake Lodge for the wonderful hospitality for our hockey team!
