The owners consistently don't pay their employees. While posting on social media they spent $10,000 in five days, while in another country on vacation. I'm sure the staff you're refusing to pay would like to enjoy a Japanese waygu steak as well. People with those morals shouldn't be running a care facility.

This facility is looked to be very well run with a quick in and out. A lot is swept under the rug at this facility, there is not enough staff on to be caring for residents and doing the expected cleaning task and cooking when there is not a cook available. When I was hired I was always told they over staff because Chue doesn't like to see RCAs running around without a break, but many nights were staffed with two RCAs. I also was not paid for my time working at this company and the owner refused to compensate appropriately and responded with " I'm on vacation". A facility that doesn't care about their employees does not care about the residents.

Worst place ever. I worked there for a little bit and they screwed me put of 26 hours of work. Most the staff are very rude or very lazy. Seen staff refuse residents medication at night. Contacted the owners and they refuse to answer me about what they owe me etc. I wouldn't recommend working there or placing any family member there etc. Another girl that worked there they refuse to send her W2s. What they are doing is very unacceptable and need to be shut down.

This place should be shut down, my father was transferred to hope stay when his dementia started getting worse and his Physical health started declining. I thought this place was gonna be a good facility that could care for my father, However, I was very wrong. They were continuously contact me, saying my dad was being combative to a point where one of the staff made a statement when she had to basically get my father back into the facility because he left out the door. Well apparently they had a fall and when talking to the staff member, i asked, Is everybody OK, she told me and I quote “ don’t worry I use to be an MMA fighter I can handle you dad” that was probably the first time I realized something was wrong with this staff & facility. I started to question how my dad got out of the facility in the first place because in memory care facilities the doors are usually locked for that reason so the patients don’t Wander off. Come to find out the building had several doors that the locking mechanism was broken on. Also, I learned that they would leave residence in their chairs for excessive amount of time. but this was not even the worst of it, as time went by my dad kept getting out of the facility and they kept calling me about my dad being combative. This is where the red flag came in because I knew clearly something is wrong. My dad is not trying to stay in this place even with him having dementia he didn’t want to stay there, when I would talk to him, I could hear it in his voice that something was not right. So I decided to transfer him to an amazing facility, which took very very good care of him, however even transferring him from Hope Stay was an even more completely disturbing experience not only did they try to stop me from moving him immediately, but I wasn’t going to let that happen. But When my father got to the new facility, they literally had to leave his belongings outside for them to air out because there were so many roaches within his belongings. Another sad part about this is the fact that all of his belongings were not sent with him. One belonging in particular was a necklace that was handed down from my grandma my dad‘s mom to my dad & was supposed to be given to me , it was a silver pendant of a saint on a silver chain . This necklace had no money value, but it had such meaningful value emotional value, my dad never took that necklace off ever every photo I have of my father even a week before him being transferred from Hope Stay to his new facility. He had that necklace on , that necklace meant the world to my dad, and it meant the world to me and I will never see it again, and I do hold Hope Stay responsible .

Applied through Indeeed, there were a few positions listed. Chue reached out through messages informed me there were positions available and 1st shift available. All of a sudden communication quit I tried reaching him at Hope Stay left 2 voicemails with no return calls or communication from him until the other day I actually caught him while he was in the office again was informed there was still positions and that Jackie is working through the applications and to wait to hear from her. Today!!, I receive a notification from indeed of an update and imagine that “not selected by the employer.” After reading reviews and this whole communication fiasco maybe it’s a good thing seeing as I left in the first place because employees weren’t being heard and the bullying. Sounds if it fit hasn’t changed they say they learned about from former employees however I assume not. I left with good notice yet Chue’s statement is a lie. Chue- we give second chances and even hire individuals with a record (I don’t have a record and don’t have a thing against people with a record), yet here I sit with knowing positions and then all of a sudden communication stops. What I have a problem with is lies. Guess I will look elsewhere where the employee or potential employee will be treated with respect!

I hear this place is pretty awful to their employees. Can’t imagine the resident care is much better. Maybe state or the department of labor should check this one out.
