Friendly, helpful, staff. Great local and WI travel information. Excellent natural resource related exhibits and information. Nice 3/4-mile interpretive trail through the woods around the facility. Dog park, pavilion, RV dump station and outside fresh water are other useful amenities. Only place in state of WI where you can get forestry information from federal, state and county forests all in one place.

There is a very nice little museum in here about the history of the area, and the nice people inside will help you see the beauty of Florence. There are also a couple fish tanks and a lot of helpful maps and brochures.
