Loved our experience on the Fox River. It was very easy to get a reservation and the staff was so helpful!!!! I was glad that I was told what to expect before arriving. It ensured a great, relaxing experience. Can’t wait to do it again.

Went kayaking with my 13 year old boy yesterday. It was nothing short of so much fun! Just a word of advisement... It's a long way. 4.5 miles to paddle. But it was worth it. We saw so many animals and heard birds and frogs! First time for my son so it was amazing! We even had a couple who was also using their service help us out of our kayak! Also the owner explained everything to us in detail so we knew what to expect! It was so awesome! Could not recommend them enough!!!

We made arrangements to rent a 2 person, tandem kayak for an adult and an 8 year old child. We were given AND charged for what the employees insisted was a 2 person kayak, but the kayak CLEARLY said that it was for 1 person capacity. They were unable/unwilling to rectify the situation and insisted that since my husband and daughter were under the weight limit this was an acceptable way to kayak. It is a really long way to kayak with a person sitting right in front of you, between your legs...very difficult to paddle. Also, since my daughter is 8 (not a toddler) she usually paddles (and does a great job of it). So this trip was especially disappointing for her.

What a bummer for a nice family day out! We've kayaked many rivers with rentals and have never been treated so poorly. The company made no attempt to refund our money or to fix this situation.

Us city dwellers (NYC/CHI) had a dreamy day on the Fox River canoodling around and Fox River Canoe Adventures made it all happen easily. You meet at your final destination and then they drive you (and your canoe) to your starting point. Very friendly, responsive with phone calls and they also provide life jackets. We'll be back!

Overall great kayak rental experience, super nice staff who were friendly plus helpful. We rented two kayaks that were in great condition and comfortable. Explained the river route and stop points along the way. Highly recommend this company for a great day on the river if you enjoy kayaking! Made the reservation super easy, flexible with time slots, explained everything throughly, easy return process of the equipment and the staff even help launch you and your kayak into the start point. Great for a large group or smaller one. Honest and upfront with pricing as well, super easy to book! Very responsive to calls/texts and questions.

Beth and her boys were awesome! Everything was so professional, efficient, and fun. It’s a beautiful route with tons of wildlife. It was a blast to end the long trip at Bobbers to refuel with some great food and live music.
I’m very sore but had a great birthday!
