Spacious room, clean and close to the harbor. Plenty of room to park your boat trailer. They also have a giftshop that sells a lot of Kewaunee merch It has a nautical theme and shaped like a lighthouse

This was such a wonderful place to stay. We arrived and checked in at the gift shop, with the owner who was a very pleasant person. Our room was very clean, the cleanest I’ve probably ever seen, and we are at hotels every other weekend for softball tournaments. The climate control in the room worked perfectly for such a warm weekend (high 80’s and high humidity). The beds were very cozy in the quaint little room. There was a patio area where a group of us cooked out at with a gas grill someone has brought. Throughout the weekend staff interaction was very pleasant. There is a custard shop next door that also serves food, which made this an even better experience. The downtown area/businesses were very close to this hotel as well, unfortunately we were unable to experience anything in that area.

This was an extraordinary value! Nice, clean, comfortable rooms with a couch, microwave, bigger mini-fridge, bar sink, and even a tiny bit of cupboard space. This would really be an excellent plan B if you discover your Door Co. digs are just a little too small--or if you have some in your group that would like a little extra space. It's pretty remote, as far as beach towns on Lake Michigan go, but Kewaunee has a couple of iconic restaurants, and, in the middle of September, very little traffic to contend with. I can't imagine this place isn't just booked solid in July and August. It's walkable enough to keep kids and grandkids from going all cabin fever on you--but no pool halls or casinos to make you stop the ones that are halfway sensible.

We stayed here for two nights two years ago during a pandemic. Our room was clean and cleaned thoroughly every morning. The owner of the motel is a super nice lady and so is the rest of the staff. There was a walking distance sandwich store across the street and a few other restaurants closeby right by the water. We would definitely book here again if we plan to visit Door County sometime in the future.

We Rented a slip for the season. I got my wish. However the compromise was that if we stay overnight that it is her normal upper end chains. Holiday Inn express at a minimum. 25 miles away. Well, that is a pain at 4AM. But that's what makes good relationships.
Then last weekend had the grandkids. Things didn't go as planned. Green Bay was booked. We found ourselves in Kewaunee without a place to stay and everyone was crabby. My wife already knew that there is nothing decent in this town but there were notable reviews on the Coho. I am sorry for this long introduction. Our hotel room was extremely clean. Everything was good and my wife's comment was that we are going to start staying here for the summer. I can't say enough what this means of the quality of the Coho. My honey is pretty picky. LOL

This was our second stay here, the first was by necessity, the second by choice. The room/bathrooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and definitely money well spent. The décor is charming not cheesy. Their housekeeping staff clearly take pride in their work and workplace. We stayed in the 2 story building both times and really enjoyed the view and small patio set to sit and relax on. The grounds are well kept and add to the pleasant view. The kitchenette is a great amenity! Although the motel is right off the road, road noise is minimal inside the room. Noise from the room above us, as well as the wooden stairs and walkway can be heard. The staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating, and the gift shop is cute with plentiful merchandise. The windows open to allow cool fresh air to flow through the room. A breakfast option at the hotel would be great, but definitely not a deal breaker for me! There is a fun little frozen custard place in walking distance with a lot of great options.

We stayed here for two new nights and loved this place. We stayed in one of their suites which is upstairs. You get a gorgeous view of the valley and side views of Lake Michigan. We had two queen beds, microwave, refrigerator and a very large flat screen TV. The room was huge and very clean. A side note, working and functioning shower head. How many times have you stayed somewhere where that important item just doesn’t work. We slept with all the windows open and my husband said he felt like he was camping; nice cool breeze off the lake. This is also the quiet side of the Door County area. Go experience all the wonderful things in Door County, but come back here to spend the nights. You will not be disappointed. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. My husband says he would differently stay here again 👍.
