Used to be really good. Local, could get our kids in same day, and got answers! Now? Have to wait forever on a Mayo phone line, & they want to “triage” your child’s symptoms on the phone with a nurse first. I’m the Mom, trust me when I know my child needs a Dr.
You have to fight for everything in the medical systems these days. No one is looking out for you. Like so many Glenwood City families, we’ve moved our care to Western WI Health.

Worst place to have health care was a great place at one point but now I seen so many people that I know that are not getting the care that they truly need I switched to western Wisconsin health and it's a difference between night and day they listen to you as a patient and not a number I have been complaining for a long time about when I had my surgery it was a back surgery very big one t1 to t12 fused and been telling them something isn't right and come to find out something wasnt right but mayo didn't want to take the time and look into it and wanted to treat me like I was a drug seeker when there was an actual reason as to why I was in so much pain all I have to say is if you have something wrong with you stick up for yourselfs and don't go to this hospital a bunch of quacks
