The lake side cabins and hilltop apartments are wonderful. Great quality, simple, elegant local carpentry, week stacked to let your stay be as fun as you can make it. Kids love the beach, boaters like the dock, we relish the screened in porch facing the lake. |Owners Wendy and Doug live on the hilltop and are totally invested in making their spaces comfortable and livable. They are super special people. |We have stayed here at least twice a year since fall or 2021. We love it here.

What an incredible place to get away for a few days! Wendy and Doug are amazing hosts and always make sure you have what you need! The grounds are beautiful, so many amenities are available, and is very rich in history! My family has been vacationing here, every year since 2022. I am native to Wisconsin but live in Kentucky, and we make sure to come back every summer! We have stayed in the Miller cabin and the Willow lodge so far!

We’ve been renting the Deerwester Cottage for a week each summer for years, and it has become a cherished tradition for our family. The location is ideal—close to town with the best views of Green Lake.||Our kids love swimming off the pier, catching fish, and ending the evenings with s'mores by the campfire. The cottage itself while small, is impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we need. Most of our time is spent outdoors or on the spacious screened-in porch.||Wendy and Doug, the owners, live onsite and are the heart of this place. They take incredible pride in maintaining the property and are always accommodating and reliable. Their warm hospitality make every stay enjoyable.

We have been visiting this hidden treasure for years. We go with other relatives and each family has their own cabin to retreat to in the evenings. We spend the days playing on the sandy beach with the little kids or skiing and tubing in front of the property. The owners have done a fabulous job modernizing the cabins and make them feel like home. They truly want to make sure you have everything you need for a relaxing week at the lake. Our kids say this is their favorite vacation each year!

Do not look anywhere else! Low and behold this place in Green Lake, right on the side of the entry way into the town, is the only place you should go. My Mom and Dad go here at least twice a year for the last 4 years and they stay at the same house this retreat provides and have had the best time since they started going the lake in 1987. This place has been run by family since its origination and that is what holds the place so near to their heart. The Miller cabin is a great lake front suite, but their stay was the best at the Willow lodge with our whole family able to bunker down. No other place in the area has the views, the fishing or the hospitality that Wendy and Doug provide. This is the place you need to come to and will never find anywhere better. The Ward family thanks you for the memories had and those to come. We wish the same in your travels to the Terrace Beach Retreat. 🙂

We found beautiful Terrace Beach Retreat years ago. We were smitten. Our cottage is so close to the lake with screened in porch. It has all the comforts of home and is maintained impeccably. We go twice a summer for two weeks at a time. We love it! I feel peaceful writing about it.

Beautiful clean cabins. Very friendly owners available anytime we needed anything. Nice sandy area near the shore. Clean swimming area with ladders to get onto pier. |Beautiful fountain and gardens for meandering. Plenty of parking and amenities near by, restaurants, bars and grocery stores.
