Tim really knows his stuff, not just about revolutionary Alexandria history, but the entirety of the city and region in general as well as extensive knowledge about all time periods, from revolutionary to present! Highly recommend Tim for tours of all sizes!

I am very glad I stumbled upon the George Washington tour! Tim gave us an interesting tour of key historic sites on a walk around the old city. He was very friendly and knowledgeable during his presentation and during follow-up questions. I would definitely recommend!

I took the Discover Alexandria tour on April 5, 2025 and it was the highlight of my visit to Alexandria. Wayne was the tour guide and he was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. You could tell he really enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the town. The tour was appropriately paced and I loved learning lesser-known facts about the area. This tour is a phenomenal way for the first-time visitor to get familiar with Old Town Alexandria.

Excellent tour! Tim is very knowledgeable about all aspects of Alexandria life and really takes the time to bring the history of the city alive for you. It was a great way to see lots of the city we wouldn’t not have done on our own. I would highly recommend it!

Tim is an amazing storyteller. He is passionate about his city and it shows! He is able to weave our country’s history into an enjoyable walking tour! He backs up his information with maps, photos and interesting documents. Very cool! We have family that lives in the area and they enjoyed learning about the streets and buildings they’ve been by many times. This tour is a must for people who have never been to Alexandria but also for those who live nearby! 10 out of 10 stars!
