This beach has a nice boardwalk with gazebos. Lots of benches and just very clean. There are sand dunes that block the view of the ocean in most areas but where there is an opening, it’s a beautiful ocean view.

Gorgeous beaches with happy wildlife (recently saw whales and dolphins)! Great for swimming and surfing in the summer and fall and also there are several good restaurants for dining out. Please keep our oceans clean!

Bradley Beach is nestled between Avon-by-the-Sea Beach and Ocean Grove Beach. Bradley Beach is nice and clean with crystal clear water. The boardwalk is small; only a mile long. The boardwalk is paved giving it a unique look from all the other boardwalks. I think this is the only paved boardwalk on the Jersey Shore. There are no shops or arcades. You can buy food at the Pavilion. There is a miniature golf course called Shipwreck Island which is right on the boardwalk on Ocean Park Avenue. There's a playground on Park Place Avenue. There is a small maritime forest, which is about 1/2 an acre. It is named in honor of Julie Schreck, who was the mayor of Bradly Beach from 2008-2012. She played an important role in setting the restoration project in motion. This area used to be for parking and storage of lockers, but was rebuilt in 2013 into this small maritime forest after Hurricane Sandy the year before. There are over 20 different kinds of trees, shrubs and grasses. "These plants help protect against storms, reduce sand and debris going into Fletcher Lake, provide habitat and beautify the area." I found all this very interesting! There's another lake called Sylvan Lake which divides Avon on the South with Bradley Beach to the North and there is a small park there.

This is one of the best beaches I’ve been to yet in the Tri-State area. It’s super clean, the sand is soft, the waves are perfect. The beach is very family friendly and the water is incredibly clear. There is not much for food options in the direct walking vicinity. For reference, we entered the beach at Cliff Avenue. Parking, was not a problem. So long as you do not define walking five blocks to get to the beach as a problem.

IMPORTANT: We went to Bradley Beach during COVID and woke up at 6am to buy our beach passes on Viply. When we arrived around 11am, all passes were sold out as they are limiting the number of people who can enjoy the beach. Parking, as I stated before, was not included.

The restrooms were very clean and the lines were monitored to limit the number of people using the bathroom. They were also attended by staff who mopped and cleaned periodically.

I’d highly recommend Bradley Beach. It is worth the drive from Manhattan and we will definitely return.

Beautiful beach. Few rocks/shells around some pockets. Not that deep which makes it easy for kids. Nice sand. Well maintained. Life guard on duty from 9:00 am on weekends. Parking is 1.50 per hr. Restrooms open from 8:00 am

Sometimes parking can be tricky here but its a great neighborhood and great beach area. We like the playgrounds right on the boardwalk/beach for playing with the kids (and checking the waves from the top...shhh). Bathrooms and handicap access also a plus.
