Nice day for a hike. Sadly, we were about 5 miles into the almost 6 mile loop when we saw the sign about active logging and needed to turn around. Turned into a 10 mile day

Bear Brook is a wonderful state park. They have 48 miles of well groomed hiking trails where dogs (on leash) are allowed. They also have a beautiful picnic and swimming area, a playground for children and a pavilion that can be rented for special occasions.
