My wife and I eloped at a family friend's property roughly 15 minutes from the Inn and Rosewood was recommended for our stay for it's lovely accommodations as well as delightful innkeepers! The recommendation did not disappoint, Stan is a delight and the room was a perfect marital suite! We stayed 2 nights and loved the coziness of our fireplace but it was Stan and the amazing food that really won our hearts! My wife and I have decided we will return to the scene of the crime... I mean our marriage... on an annual basis, to nostalgically celebrate our nuptials with Stan and the amazing food at Rosewood Inn! Highly suggest staying if you're in the area!!

I arrived on a chilly, bleak November afternoon, but when the door opened into my room - the Windsong - I was immediately delighted by warm lamplight filtered through the gauzy draping of an inviting Victorian bed which, later that evening, was like sleeping in comfy cumulus clouds. What a relaxing, friendly place for a weekend getaway ... this historic inn does everything right, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and privacy. Innkeeper Stan's breakfasts are incredibly delicious and he is such a great guy! My sister and I had a thoroughly pleasant and comfortable weekend here so we happily join everyone else who rated the Rosewood 5 stars!

Quiet location on a country road with pond and forested trails. Small bar with a gas fireplace. Seating area with sofas and chairs with its own fireplace for games or reading. Most of the rooms are spacious enough to have reading nooks and places to rest with a cup of tea. The Inn is quiet and the gas fireplaces are toasty. There are noises since it is a 150 year old Inn. The outside porch is perfect for morning coffee. The grounds are open and spacious for a short walk after a large breakfast. Def a must stop. Worth the stay. Staff is friendly professional and local to the area.

Had a wonderful time for four days with friends. The Inn is beautiful, clean and well kept. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated with various famous people themes. Stan and Odo are great hosts and offer great advice on surrounding restaurants and activities. The prepared breakfasts daily and dinner on Thursday were delicious. Would highly recommend.

The Sturbridge room was spacious, comfy, cozy, and clean. The Inn was fully booked with other guests, but everyone was respectful - a quiet, chill crowd. Grounds are peaceful and pretty, and the surrounding area is perfect for a morning or evening walk. Stan and team go all-in on hospitality. Didn't have time to enjoy their Sunday brunch, but it smelled amazing on our way out!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was clean and well furnished. Stan and Oda are great hosts and helpful in advising on local attractions, such as dining and hiking. Stan's breakfasts were delicious. His muffins were the best we ever had.

A wonderful stay at the inn. It is nestled on a quiet country road. We were greeted by a cheerful inn keeper who gave us a tour of the facilities. We stayed in the Mary Pickford room which was a corner room filled with plenty of sunlight . The Sunday breakfast buffet was delicious... with a large selection of food. We ate in a cheerful, Garden Room. If you are staying up in the New Hampshire Sunapee Lake Region we highly recommend this Hideaway spot.

Truly a great experience! I had the Charlie Chaplin room,it was equipped with a comfortable bed,hot tub and beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was amazing. It's a small town but with tons of views.Stan,Odo,Karol,Stiffles,and Erica was amazing. They also host Murder Mystery and karaoke. There is so much more to the experience and can't thank you guys enough
