This place is great, for visitors and locals. Personalized service and a knowledgeable guide to show you around for your aquatic adventures. Highlights: beautiful clear day with many bird sightings (red winged blackbird, osprey and a bald eagle to name a few.)

The owner and staff were so easy to work with. They worked us in after we randomly showed up, even gave us a few choices. Timing and their ability to think on their feet were on our side. They were great to talk to and very helpful all around. We had an awesome time kayaking and when back in the area will be using Plum Island Kayak again!

Ken and his team were amazing. If you’re looking for good family fun this is the place. I have nothing but great things to say about this tour, the people and the location. We went at the end of July and had the best time. Super affordable and our family will be regulars for years to come

A friend and I, both from out of town, just showed up this morning, hoping we'd be able to rent kayaks on the spot. The owner was late, but the staff were very friendly and attentive while we were waiting. When the owner arrived, he was so warm and accommodating, despite rushing to prepare for a summer-camp kayaking group. He managed to squeeze us in, and we had a perfect morning kayaking around Lake Attitash, in high-quality, comfortable kayaks. It's a bit more expensive than other places, but totally worth it. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately would not recommend the self-guided tours. The website made the impression that we would be able to kayak among the barrier islands but instead we were told to kayak up the Merrimac River, which is not pleasant to kayak up as a lot of boats travel quickly with full wake. They make an emphasis for you to arrive on time and that they'll leave people behind if regrouping late, but my group ended up waiting for other people for more than 30 minutes after we had loaded our kayaks. I can only speak for my experience and tour, but I did not leave with a positive impression.
