We had an unforgettable experience. Captain Jim and First Mate Abbie were knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and professional. Thank you both! We embarked on an evening sail September 14, 2024 and the weather was perfect, the ocean flat and gentle. Abbie told great stories about the houses along the coastline, and we even encountered a few seals.

We will be back to celebrate our wedding anniversary again! Thank you so much!

So flexible and such a great charter! We were able to go out even after canceling earlier that day due to expected bad weather! Weather cleared up and we got a GREAT cruise in! Was very responsive with our group about being a little rough in the water, and big waves, so we had a wonderful time in the river after!!! Jim and his deck hand were incredible! Learned so many cool facts, will definitely be heading out again next summer!

A truly excellent adventure. We would have gone on the next cruise that day if we’d had the time - the weather was perfect, the crew top-notch, and a great sailboat. Best sailing we’ve had in years, and looking forward to doing it again soon.

Was referred to the Pineapple Ketch company from a local so My family of 3 took the mid-day sail along with 5 other guest. The captain Justin and Abby his assistant was great and answered questions and told us some history as we sailed, along with pointing out houses along the way. They do have drinks on the boat that was offered to us. If ever back in kennebunkport we will take the evening sail.

We have been sailing on the Ketch twice a year in August and September since 2008. We have done Sunset sails (outstanding ambience) and Mid-day sails in various wind conditions. It never seems to matter as time spent on the water around Kennebunkport is time well spent. The Captain and his crewmate (over the years, assorted personnel), regale you with the history of the shoreline and the rules and regulations of lobstering, as you see so many lobsters buoys on the sail. You are invited to bring your own drinks and food if you prefer. We always pack a bottle of wine and some cheese to enjoy while we take in the fresh air and view of the open water surrounding us. It's a great way to spend some time with nothing to think about but the water and the wind (hopefully)! Highly recommend this!

Superb sailing experience! We loved our intimate cruise on the sea. Justin was a great seamen with lots of intimate knowledge of the history of Kennebunkport, its residents and industries. Would highly recommend and plan to do it again when we return!

Had a great time on the mid-day sail in July! Highly recommend! Justin was a great guide and answered lots of questions. Loved that we could bring a bottle of wine on board. Doesn’t hurt that it was a perfect day for sailing.
