Disappointed. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I just have to express how disappointing this was. I felt no Christmas cheer on this Santa train. The train was freezing, no hot chocolate, no Christmas song caroling, none of the elves smiled, and Santa 😬 (see pic - grey beard, leather, brown fur… 😳). For the positives - Mrs. Claus was super sweet and the little train the kids got was a hit. Ultimately, we made the best of it but definitely not missing out on the one in Lyndonville VT next year!

A very pleasant train ride through the woods. We brought out lunch and ate it at tables in one of the cars. The sights were mostly trees, rivers, bridges, and road crossings. You may see some wildlife, but we didn't.

Friendly staff. A nice narration at times during the trip. If you like trains it is a nice way to spend 80 minutes or so.

The Polar Express train ride was a great scenic ride in the middle of a small snowy day. The sites were beautiful. We rode the preferred seating, not sure what that got us except that there weren't many people in our car. (Probably the price) Oh well! Our 3 yr old enjoyed the entire ride, Santa, Mrs Claus, and the train itself. We as adults thought there could have been more fun and holiday spirit added to this train ride to make it special. She did get a toy train that she asked for, so as long as kids were happy, that's all that matters. But we thought the Polar Express experience in White River Junction was a better experience all around.

Super fun! Our conductor was super funny with his jokes. It was a nice little train ride getting to know some history!
Matt and Lucas were the attendees And everyone just made it so much fun! Can't wait to come back

Very nice ride scenic it was fun for kids and adults says also a gift shop that's not too pricey. All of us enjoyed ourselves. It was between 60 and $70 for two adults and two children but the ride was about an hour both ways. Time over there it's not that expensive as well. They also do balloon animals on the train for the kids it's kind of cute.

This is a great place to bring the family! The kids will love the train ride. There is also a playground to play on. The mini golf course is fun with a bit of silliness added in. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced, but we did see signs that suggested they were getting ready to do just that. Minus 1 star because of the carpet.

I hate leaving bad reviews, I would rather just assume a place was having an off day and not complain about it publicly, but the Santa Express was definitely NOT worth the cost or energy and was way more than just an off day. We spent $200 for 4 "Premier" tickets and it took us 2 hours to drive up there. The "Premier" train car was actually quite comfortable, but unfortunately there was no heat so it was freezing. Staff members were very polite and apologetic, and told us when the train stopped we would be moving back to a first class car that had heat. Before the move, "Santa" came around. Santa was wearing a leather suit and had an awkward short dark grey beard...literally no resemblance of Santa. Even my 5 year old said "that looks like a man in a costume." Mrs. Clause was incredible though.

When the train stopped, we were moved to a first class car. It was cramped, had little to no heat as well, and must have
been attached to the bathrooms because it smelled AWFUL. We honestly could not get out of there quick enough.
