Drove an hour and forty minutes to try this place out. Worth the drive.
The line was no match for the crew.

Got a pound of the peach tea pork belly. The smoke flavor was great, and it’s important to note that it was not overwhelming.

Jalapeño sausage is a must try.

If you leave without trying the brisket, you should be ashamed. Many places struggle to nail the brisket. Not these guys.
Oh, and get the mac and cheese before they run out. Fortunately, I did.

10/10 would recommend.
Don’t let the prices scare you, you get what you pay for in quality and quantity.

We stopped by just in time before they closed down for the weekend. We grabbed some pulled pork (not pictured because we ate it too fast 😂) which was absolutely incredible. Smokey, tender and not smothered in sauce to enhance the flavor. Just good relying on the smoke and their rub. 10/10 on the pulled pork!

The ribs we got to eat today, the next day. These things are still amazing, even a day later and my 'not so professional' reheat 😅. Just as smokey, just as flavorful and still Bite-Off-Bone tender.

Also not pictured here is their Peach Tea Pork Belly Bites. Words cannot describe them, just phenomenal. Perfect texture, great structure and amazing sweetness from their Peach Tea glaze. This needs to be an every week item!

No sauces needed on anything. But if you like to add a flavor boost, their OG sauce and Alabama White are great options.

I can confidently say Messy Mike's Barbecue has stepped it up a notch since the new owners have taken over. 10/10 can't wait to go back

Cannot rave enough Messy Mike’s!! The brisket was out of the world, pickles and pickled onions were the best I’ve had, and the mac n’ cheese was delicious. Will definitely be back soon!!

Prepare for the meat sweats because you HAVE to try one of everything! There's no way to make up your mind once you read the menu. And everything is SO GOOD! Rare to get this good Texas BBQ in New England. My super picky 4 year old even LOVED the chicken. He asked for more (which never happens!) Good thing they're only open on the weekends or we'd be there way too often. I heard the new owners have some fun plans for Friday nights in the summer👀 that's where we'll be!

Amazing food! Best smoked BBQ i ever had. Love the brisket and pork bellies! Gotta get some corn bread too! I have eaten there twice in the last month, and will continue to stop in to say hi and grab some delicious food! Priced right, good portions and friendly service!

Great food as always! Brisket was amazing. The only thing I felt was a bit different was the beans. They had a lot more meat and were a thicker consistency. Tasted good just would have preferred the original ones. Overall great customer service and for a soft opening with a long line of customers they pumped food out quickly! Will always recommend Messy Mike’s!

Messy Mike’s BBQ is just as amazing as ever under the new owners! The same mouthwatering, smoky flavors that made this place a favorite are still here, and the quality of the food hasn’t changed a bit. The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender, the peach pork bellys were perfect, oh and the corn bread just as delicious as always.

The new owners have kept the same great taste while adding their own touch of excellent service and hospitality. It’s clear they care about their customers and are dedicated to keeping Messy Mike’s a top BBQ spot. If you loved it before, you’ll love it now—definitely worth a visit!

Excellent pulled pork sandwiches. We did 2 with regular BBQ sauce and 2 with white sauce. Then we were lucky enough to try the ribs with some of the peach tea glaze. Would order it that way every time!! So yummy! 🤤
