This was a very convenient location to spend the night on our trip through the NE while leaf peeping. It was definitely overpriced because of the Autumn season, but it was a safe and clean place to lay our heads for the night. Despite the odd smell of the lobby, the room smelled fine and it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was worth trying out. They have a freshly made yogurt machine that tasted quite good. The potatoes and bacon were good, too. I didn’t use the pool, but I’m sure that families with kids would enjoy it. It was warmish and clean. Overall decent for an economy hotel, but well overpriced for the season.

I have stayed in many Hotels and this one was by far the best. The staff is amazing and willing to help in any way they can. The rooms are very clean with a small but nice gym to work out in. And an additional heated indoor pool that is super clean and perfect for passing the time.

This is good location to be close to restaurants and gas station. Also, only 30 minutes drive from Bretton Woods ski and 10 minutes drive to Cannon Ski.
The check in is quick and wonderful staffs
My room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable bed.
I will highly recommend to anybody.
The WiFi connection is strong and great.
The heat is working great but too bad they didn’t keep the room warm when I check in. Bbbrrrr.

I’m glad I got refrigerated and microwave.

The lobby, breakfast area, and pool are all a bit run down. The pool was unclean and unfortunately someone had vomited in it right before we went to swim. The staff didn’t do much to clean the water and said the filter would take care of it. We didn’t risk it and the kids were sad since one of the reasons we stayed there was to swim. The room itself seemed fairly clean and had some new features like a new TV. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean rooms, no frills but got the job done. Close to soooo much and worth the price. Indoor pool is great. Heater acted up but they assisted quickly and fixed the minor issue fast.

The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is very attractively decorated, feeling cozy and comfortable- with various artwork depicting local historical areas of note.

There is a great grocery store just a short walk away- with an ice cream booth nearby

I would suggest some seating in the shaded area of the lawn out front as the cute gazebo is in the sunshine and is fairly small - but it IS cozy!

Great attractions nearby are Echo Lake Beach and Besaw Iron Furnace as well as a 20 minute? Drive to Canon Mt which doubles as a great tramway visit & medium difficulty trail area. (Medium difficulty..as in, as an over 60 5’3” woman, I had a little difficulty with the chunks of rocks and uneven trails on Canon Mt.

There is a very pretty newish wooden staircase to the second floor- made it feel kind of homey 🏠!

There’s also an ice, laundry, soda
and snack area down the other set of stairs to the lower level. All very clean and open enough that you feel safe by yourself too!

Location was great. Rooms were clea. However the front desk staff was rude. And refused to take payment from anyone but the person who made the reservation. It didn't matter that the person was staying in one of the two rooms we reserved. Since his name was not the person who made the reservation they wouldn't allow payment from him. While the rooms were clean and location great. I will not be using this best western again.
