I absolutely love staying at the Georges Mills Cottages. I have been going to New Hampshire for summer vacation my whole life, but in 2017 I started staying here. The price is reasonable and the views are outstanding. The property is close to a busy road, but the new cottages block out that noise. I stay in Ladyslipper and love everything about it. From the big bay window overlooking the lake and private dock to the spectacular views from the upstairs bedroom windows. I love all the amenities in the kitchen and especially the washer and dryer upstairs. Many rentals in this area don't provide washer and dryers, so you loose a day of vacation going to the laundry mat. Also it's location is key for me. It is smack in the middle of everywhere I would go and that makes it very convenient. I have very much enjoyed my stays at Georges Mills Cottages and hope to continue to stay there for years to come.

We stayed in one of the new units, it was very clean, comfortable and very spacious. It was so nice to sit out every morning with a coffee and look at the water. Unit was fully furnished, excellent fully stocked kitchen which was great for preparing our own meals and had laundry appliances in the unit. We stayed a full month at a great rate. Parking was great and the lake was very refreshing. WiFi worked great and direct TV was super.||The area had so much to offer and we are looking forward to our return visit. Highly recommend George Mills Cottages!

The accommodations exceeded my expectations. Cottage was clean and well appointed with a nice mix of modern and antiques. Lady Slipper had a view of the pond which was very peaceful. Although I was concerned that I would hear traffic, I did not hear it at all and got a restful sleep. It was an enjoyable stay.

This place has has some very wonderful upgrades done recently! The property manager does amazing with the decorating, upkeep and cleaning of the cottages. I believe her name is Emilie? She has been very helpful when we have ever needed anything during our stay. You can clearly tell that she takes pride in what she does at these cottages. They are always very very clean and always have a very welcoming and home feeling! This place is a very peaceful, quiet and enjoyable time every time that we come here!

I recently stayed at the George’s Mills Cabins in the Lady Slipper, the cabin was absolutely gorgeous and meticulously put together with just the right amounts of rustic cabin, having everything we needed at our fingertips. Rte 11 was basically right out the door which was nice when trying to find the place and having to go to the stores and things I was worried about the noise of the traffic at night but to be honest I rarely ever noticed it besides that the personal dock and view made up for any downfall that the traffic had made. I was scheduled to leave the weekend of a huge snow storm and the owner was helpful and understanding when I had to come back when the storm was over to pick up the rest of my belongings being very attentive to my situation and needs. our cottage was comfortable, the beds were great. The unit was clean enough. Spec is a really responsive, accommodating host. However, the unit that was 'recently renovated" seemed like they stopped in the middle- lots of unfinished projects. Including a light fixture in the shower that was a bare bulb and insulation- not sure if that is code or safe. The water coming out of the shower was brown for a while so I was not exactly comfortable showering. The exterior of the property was like a junk yard. We did not want to sit by the water because of all of the trash, both on the ground and in the water. Luckily we were just sleeping there while attending festivities at a family home on Lake Sunapee. This was pretty expensive and I felt like it was way over priced.

We stayed in Oak. When you pull up it is right on route 11 so at first I was like uh oh but then when we walked into Oak it had a gorgeous view and was very spacious. We were able to bring our two dogs and they were very happy. It is close to Hannaford grocery and also the general store. We had dinner at the Flying Goose which was nearby. It is close to Lake Sunapee Harbour and other attractions. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in April. It was clean and tidy. We sipped our coffee on the deck overlooking the water. Was a great place to unplug from the world for a few days. ||||This is not a hotel so don’t expect that. It is more rustic. Very affordable place. There is not a daily maid service. Pack your toiletries. Spec the owner was nice and easy to deal with. ||||Jessica

We came here to stay for a month while we worked in the area, honstely it made getting up easy and going home from work amazing. This was like a dream house! The fishing was great and the view was gorgeous. Don't worry about being a drive from anywhere because it is totally worth it. Spec was also very helpful and an amazing owner to an amazing place. We hope to come back someday.
