We had a great time on the Bat Tour. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable.
It's a laid back paddle, easy for any age. Perfect for my kids.
The dock is a little farther than the other tours going on.

Had an amazing experience here, very kind and helpful staff. Super convenient location, you don’t have to carry the kayaks, just walk a short distance down to the dock and they help you load them in the water. Their dock is equidistant to the downtown skyline / bat bridge and also green belt & nature scenery area. Reasonable pricing. Both the single and tandem kayaks had a built in back rest which is absolutely essential for those with a bad back. Made things so much more comfortable. This will be my go-to rental spot from now on!

Definitely a must do when you’re in Austin. We did the evening bat tour. We had a relaxing paddle down to the bridge. Our guide was informative about the local wildlife. Then we hung out at the bat viewing site until the bats flew. It’s an amazing sight. Then after dark we paddled back to the dock. The night skyline and lights made it a nice trip back to the dock.

This was our 4th time taking the evening bat tour - our out of town guest loved it!! The experience provides an amazing view of the bats. John our tour guide was excellent - very knowledgeable about Austin & the bats. We will be back!!

Great staff, friendly and accommodating! They take your safety seriously which is important. Me and my group went out on the water on a windy day and they gave us great tips. They did not pick up the phone when we called to find out if they were open, we kept getting a voicemail on a loop but we just drove over and saw they were open even in windy day which was awesome.
Prices are by the hour and they charge you by 15 minute increments.

Had a great time doing the evening bat tour with our guide John! We had a smaller group but were able to go at our own pace and still get to listen in on all the bat facts with the group once we met up by the bridge. Very unique experience and fun way to get out of the heat in August!

You certainly have options out on the lake, but I will be going back and renting from them again and hopefully schedule one of their bat tours. The dock is a short walk from the office, and the workers were professional in their interactions with us

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Our experiences here were phenomenal. We rented by the hour on Saturday and came right back for the Bat Tour on Sunday night. Our guide Dan was awesome and made the tour so interesting, comical, and overall extremely enjoyable. Everyone who worked there was so cool and friendly. The parking garage was free, close to the store front, and felt safe. They had lockers for our stuff and we had no issues whatsoever with leaving it there. If we ever get to come back to Austin, we will absolutely rent from Live, Love, Paddle again! Loved it so much.
