What a great experience ! Very informative of the rich history in Salem. Just when you think you know it all, you find more lore at Salem! And when they say the tour promptly leaves, they’re serious 😂 one minute late and we had to chase the tour guide down. Overall cool experience to do at night. Here are some of the spots our hilarious tour guide took us to.

Great experience. A must do on your list when you visit Salem. Ben was an amazing tour guide. Very interactive and informative. He is truly passionate. My kids aged 8 and 9 had a great experience. Not too scary for them. Tour took about 1.5 hours. Great value. We enjoyed visiting the sites the next morning during daylight.

Ben was amaaaaazing!!!!!!! He needs a major shout out! I’ve done a couple Salem tours, and Ben had such passion, excitement & history knowledge! The tour was at 8 PM - and we got some extra time as we went over the time by a bit which was wonderful! The tour started meeting up with Ben as he explained paranormal info about Salem then took us around the town to the top haunted spots. Each spot, he went into actual history of the location before going into the ghost stories which was nice. He was eager to answer any questions & made the tour such a fun time! After telling the story of each spot he also allowed people to get photos to try to see the ghosts. He was helpful with cell phone photography tips too for folks! I know Salem has a millionnnnnn tour groups- but I recommend the Salem Night tours as it’s legit!

My family and I were super disappointed in this tour. I think it really had to do with the guide more than anything. The girl who did our tour was not as informative as the other guides that were doing the same company tours around us from the same company. She ended our tour at 60 minutes when the website said it was a 90 minute tour and the other tours that left at the same time were still going. It was not worth the money we paid, and she was rude when anyone asked questions. We got more out of walking around the next day on our own.

Absolutely made my last night in Salem. On a whim I booked this not wanting my time to end and went solo. My tour guide of our group was hilarious and entertaining. As we walked the streets by other tour groups, it sounds terrible to say, but they sounded absolutely boring compared to our guide. He had a passion for history and I learned so much. I feel like I retained more of what I heard since it was so fun and enjoyable. 20/10 for my tour guide. Never caught his name and I wished I had thought to bring a tip!

Scott was an amazing guide around Salem. He told us the stories of the citizens of Salem with true interest and passion. I truly think the experience we had couldn’t be topped if we tried. We had experiences during this tour that definitely made us a little uneasy. After taking pictures at the Gardner-Pingree House, we believe there were apparitions in the one photo I took. As we were studying it, my phone completely started freaking out. Continuously flashing on and off to the point I couldn’t use it. I turned It off three times while in Salem trying to fix it. As soon as we got out of Salem, it turned on no problem. Not saying everyone will experience something paranormal on these tours, but please do this tour if you get the chance, and cross your fingers Scott is your guide!!
