We did hiking at Red Rock Canyon. There is an entrance fee of $22 per vehicle.

They have a visitors center where you could purchase some souvenirs water etc. There are also some areas experts that could advise you about any questions you may have about the park or wildlife.

We hiked Calico Tanks. We had a lot of fun. You should bring outdoor, comfortable close and water. You will have to do some climbing in this hike. It was a great experience, and the views are beautiful

You have to schedule a time to visit the park online. You can pick a time. You could arrive 30 minutes early. We had to wait to enter the park because there were a lot of people visiting.

Red Rock Canyon is my go-to place when visiting Las Vegas... an escape from the casino crowds. It's a real nice visitors center with a lot of unique merchandise. I bought a shirt, insulated bottle, stickers and such. Definitely worth a visit.

Stunning artwork by mother nature - highly recommended. Bring water. The drive itself would take about 40 minutes inside the park. But you will spend a LOT more time in there -hiking, sight-seeing and taking pictures.

If you're looking for places to visit outside of Vegas proper (not downtown / the strip), Red Rocks is an excellent choice. The drive to get there is painless and fairly short, the scenery is excellent, and the Visitor Center is one of the best curated I've been to recently. Lots of great history, natural science and materials to make your visit really memorable. The staff and docents are well-versed and happy to help, the 13-mile drive loop is scenic and well-maintained, and any of the trailheads that connect to the drive are well-marked, easy to navigate and worth the effort to wind your way to new and breathtaking vistas. We did the Calico Tanks trail this trip and we were not disappointed.

Such a cool place to see! Even just to take the scenic route if you don't rock climb. It's fun to watch the rock climbers too. Only $2 entry fee if you have the America the Beautiful pass. Otherwise it's $20.

Went to Red Rock Canyon to go hiking. We sropped at the visitors' ctr to look at the maps / use the restrooms.
We also picked up some literature on the friends of red rock canyon park from one of the volunteers at the front lobby area.
We decided to go to pine creek loop and hike this area for a few hrs. Very relaxing and beautiful hike. We will definitely return to hike other areas within the park.

Awesome scenery. Information Center well informed scenic watch platform for 360° photos. Washrooms clean. Photos cannot capture its immense.

Don’t skip the visitors center! You can find beautiful views here, get a free map, and find our recommendations from park employees. They also have an area around back with lots of interactive information. The gift shop is nice, too.
