This place is worth the visit. We walked our doggie around the outside area. Watch out for broken glass (not beer bottles just some old antiques that weather and people probably took a toll on). Checked out the history, got some education. We had a picnic, enjoyed the colorful display of minerals. It had enough space to park our 28ft motorhome.

One of the best small history museums I’ve ever seen. Hands-down the best book collection on Central Nevada history, nature, people, and more. Highly entertaining exhibits, and they’re well organized & informative. Admission is free and the parking lot is easy for large vehicles.

Fascinating look into the area's history. It has a little bit of everything related to the area (not just mining!). And it's free (donations accepted). Plan on spending about an hour to fo it justice.

Fantastic museum documenting the modern history of Central Nevada. So many interesting artifacts and stories. Make sure you take the self-guided walking tour outside. There's as much there as inside the building.
