Currently in June very limited hours...one hour in the early morning. But this weekend free admittance. Going to be crazy and fun. Two campgrounds...one with plug-ins and clean showers. Coyote Cove campground sites are right on the water, however primitive with covered picnic benches, trash dumpsters and vault toilets. Throughly enjoyed my stay. Except for the sand fleas. Storms come in with a vengeance but leave quickly.

We stayed in the East Campground with electric hookup (no water/sewer hookups). There is a dump station located in the campground with a pottable water station. Our site easily fit our 34-foot trailer with room to park our truck. Some sites can accommodate up to a 40-foor RV/trailer. This is a great state park. Nice views, very clean and well maintained restrooms; the sites are kept clean and all the amperage plugs work (10/20/50). There's an easy-to-use automated fee station at the entrance with instructions printed on your tags/receipts on how and where to display them. This park is open year round and is first come, first serve only.

The park rangers are great people. They are always willing to help. The lake is kept up and clean and the fish are biting.

Quiet unless someone tries to sneak into a camp spot without paying at 3 am and pretends they were unaware of their forgetfulness.
