PMI formally known as EIP and Charleston new management is very unprofessional and not nice had Several complaints throughout my tenancy that were not addressed in timely manners, some discarded altogether such as the grass being cut. The city even had to post signs around the building for a management to cut the grass and they are charging tenants each month for lawn care this caused a mice infestation in the building I was on the second floor and had them coming in my apartment through the walls. I contacted management and they failed to address the issue

My experience with PMI was horrible, the communication wasn’t what I expected I was referred to them by a family member and she expressed that they were wonderful and very helpful with her. unfortunately I didn’t get the help that I needed when trying to find a house, I was told to pay 6 months rent in advance In order to be placed in a home, which does not make any sense and when asked why the reasoning did not make sense. I wasted $60 on an application fee and when asked if there was any other places that I can qualify for so my money will not be wasted I was brushed off and not offered help. I really wished this worked out and I got to experience the same satisfaction as others received but I didn’t! so just be cautious with your expectations from PMI.

This review is for “EIP properties” but they change names a lot. There is a reason why there are 3 companies in the same building on google. They are shady and will take your money, but will ghost when it comes to giving your security deposit back. They will do the bare minimum to their properties, I was desperate for an apartment at the time and ignored the red flags, do not make the same mistake.
