Great staff their there to help get u back on ur feet but the residents there need to wake up get off their ass and b appreciative that would send a good vibe thru the shelter cudos to the staff

Formerly open only on cold evenings, they are now able to be open full time. They have a caring staff and good meals. They provide toiletries and help connect people with employment and other resources. They have simple, understandable rules for their guests and even provide laundry services! They are centrally located in a community with tons of resources and businesses within walking distance. If like me you have trouble getting around, they have an arrangement with the county bus service. They are quick to address any issues with a firm but understanding presence. They treat people with dignity and ensure a safe environment.

It's a wonderful option for the homeless and a great place however they don't deal very well with people that have mentally challenged issues. These people are overlooked or kicked to the streets! They are sleeping in the parks,in abandoned buildings,in the woods. They deserve to be treated like people too.

They did not allow drinks to be brought in and the failed to provide adequate drinking water upstairs. One toilet for way too many people and rotten milk was served. Other than that it was very nice.

Amazing..these friendly people help people with such a great service..they provide shelter food and laundry services for the homeless in Carbondale Illinois..rules are simple and they try to make all welcome. What a wonderful center the Sparrow Group has created for our people in need

The staff there are very wonderful and caring great place to be. I had to stay there a couple nights and the staff was very caring and polite they treat you like a human with respect

They are receiving a lot of donations, but they need volunteers even more. If you can spare an hour or more to volunteer, it would greatly be appreciated.

It's a great thing their doing there. Of you get a chance, help the movement. The ladies in tge front office Are super cool.
