My Daughter rylee and I went this afternoon for a trial ride for her birthday. Rylee loved it and Krystal is an amazing trail guide and explains everything well. Been around horses most of my life and I absolutely enjoyed the ride the view and scenery. Krystal and her daughter were very informative and had great conversation with them. I hope I will be back soon to ride another trail with them. Rylee had a blast as well. I want to thank Shiloh ranch for their time and representation of the hard work they provide and do.

Such a great ride! Do yourself a favor and call! Reservations are required and I can see why! We were greeted by Krystal and she was immediately a pleasure. She was our guide as well. The person who left 2 stars has either never actually been to the Ranch or hasn’t been in forever as that review was complete garbage!
Krystal spent 15+ minutes going over the rules, ensuring your comfortability with your assigned horse. It was clear she was being thoughtful when assigning to ensure you weren’t going to experience anything you weren’t ready to. She then got you saddled and took another 10 minutes or so walking you through the “how-to” again asking if you wanted to ride independently or guided by her. She never rushed, never went too far and kept checking with you before leaving the barn.
After leaving the barn, we were guided on a beautiful natural trail and she chatted with us like she’d know us forever! No awkward silence 😂.

At the end of our trail ride she asked if we wanted to brush the horses after their saddles were removed and my once anxious teenager was all about it!!! She didn’t rush us out and we were allowed to hang out a bit with our horses Blue and Bear (who can be requested on future visits).

Just an awesome well organized company! We will definitely be back and you should definitely go!

I’ve been to this place a lot I remember on April 16th this year I went to the ranch for my birthday, they have great and I mean GREAT service, well trained and fed horses, Krystal is so kind and also very cool. I do not know why some people always hate on this but to my response… this is a 10000/10 Shilo Ranch is great!

The staff who took my daughter on a ride with my husband were phenomenal! The price was great. They were friendly, explained everything to my daughter. This was her first time riding and it was her birthday! They had a helmet for her to wear. I'm happy that they make sure you are protected. She got to ride Blue and my husband rode little bear. We will definitely be returning for more fun! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family! Keep up the great work!!!!

Took my two daughters this evening and we had a blast. It was my 7 year olds first time on a horse so she was nervous. Krystal was very patient with her and she got on the horse like nothing. She allowed us to circle the arena multiple times until we were all comfortable to go out on the trials. The trails were very nice and peaceful. When we got back she offered to take pictures. Then asked the girls if they wanted to brush the horses. The girls were so excited to do that so they did. The girls are all ready asking when we can go back. We will be back for sure.

Such a great experience! Krystal did such a great job with me and my 2 kids today! Kids had never been on horses before and she was very patient with us! The trail was so beautiful! Of all of my horseback riding experience, trail riding at Shilo Ranch was the best experience. You start off in the arena to get to know your horse throughout the trail riding experience. This includes a lap around the arena and obstacles. Then, you and your guide ride through a trail with beautiful views with a lake. Then, you and your guide go into the lake with your horses but not too deep. The rest of the trail ride was fun and relaxing with amazing views. The trail ride concludes with some cowboy tricks. This includes sitting on your horse left and right sideways and backwards. Then, you dismount by sliding off the horse's rump. I was impressed that my horse, Sam, did not kick from behind when I dismounted. Finally, you learn to remove the saddle and pad, and lead your horse to the paddock.

The overall experience personally was amazing. Krystal, my guide for the trail riding, was very excellent and knowledgeable. The ranch consisted of 52-60 horses that match your size and skill set. The people on this ranch have long-term experience with horses. I am already making plans to return to the ranch.
