"My Incredible Dubai Adventure with Melanin Globe"
I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Dubai with the incredible Melanin Globe. This was my first time traveling with a group, and I'm so glad I chose to travel with my sister and Melanin Globe.
From the moment I signed up, their customer service was exceptional. I received timely updates, a welcome package, and helpful prep calls before the trip.
Upon arrival in Dubai, I was blown away by the luxurious hotel and the friendly staff. Our host, @~Lourdes , was a wealth of knowledge about the country and its culture. She made sure we had an amazing experience every step of the way.
The tours and events were not only informative but also incredibly fun. I felt like I truly got my money's worth. A must-do in Dubai is the brunch, which was absolutely delicious. The drivers and tour guides were all very helpful and friendly.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have traveled with Melanin Globe and met @~Lourdes. I learned so much and had an incredible time that I'll never forget.

In September 2024 I went to Bali with Melanin Globe what a phenomenal experience. Our guide was Gede and he was such a wonderful guide with a heart for people. He made sure we enjoyed each and every excursion, we were safe from the time we arrived until the the time we departed, even when we had leisure time he would check on us. I became sick one day and he was very concerned with my health making sure I can go on and it wasn’t too much for me to handle. We did site seeing, market shopping, cultural learning, atvs, and cooking class all while enjoying the beautiful island. If you want an amazing, exciting, and educational experience to Bali book with Melanin Globe you won’t be disappointed.

Overall I had great time touring Ethiopia with Simien EcoTours and Melanin Globe. It was an amazing experience visiting the tribes and villages. The tour was interactive and informative. I liked that the tour was inclusive and I didn’t have to worry about food, lodging, and transportation. Moreover, our group was small and I had an opportunity to get to know everybody individually, even though I was on the trip with my best friend. I also liked that there was a person on the trip for a second time. She was able to explain things and give a heads up about some of the tribes and things to expect.

Nonetheless, there was some logistical issues with our trip. For example, our host had a totally different itinerary, compared to the itinerary we received from Melanin Globe. I assumed the host was changing our day-to-day activities and the hotel, but on the last day we discovered she had a totally different itinerary from us. Also, during tours I found it difficult to understand the guides because our host kept interrupting them and giving us her own information. I understand our host is knowledgeable in the subject area, but I wanted to hear from everyone and it would be more productive to let the person finish talking before giving your input. Lastly, nobody should be forced to switch vehicles daily. Due to body size some guess felt more comfortable in a specific vehicle, and expressed this to the host, but their concerns were ignored.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to visit Ethiopia again.

Vacationing in Greece with Melanin Globe was an amazing and unforgettable experience! Huge shout out to our phenomenal tour coordinator, Nicky. She has the perfect personality…energetic and funny too! She is very experienced and handled unexpected challenges with confidence and grace. Ten stars for Nicky!
A few recommendations for consideration -
1) upgrade hotel for first nite in Athens
2) add another full day when returning to Athens from Mykonos to allow more transition time between arrival and the Acropolis tour and free time to explore Athens. An overall great experience and highly recommend traveling with Melanin Globe!

This experience was just as pleasant as the others I have experienced with MG. I enjoy traveling with MG, because the customer service is superb and the itineraries are as detailed. I have met and made connections with people that I wouldn't have met otherwise. For this experience to Charleston it was great hanging out with the ladies, the breakfast and ice breaker Mira initiated was good, the ladies on this trip were like minded and a joy to be around. The photoshoot was optional on this trip and I'm glad I participated in it.

I recently had my first experience with Melanin Globe on a service trip to Accra, Ghana. What an amazing experience overall. There was not a single question or concern left unanswered leading up to the trip. Our travel coordinator Nicky was amazing! She definitely kept everyone engaged and included. Melanin Globe provided the perfect local guide as well. I look forward to traveling with Melanin Globe again!

What an AMAZING and IMMERSIVE experience! I found solace in knowing that all my lodging, food, transportation, and other innovative pop-ups would be taken care of with ease. I choose to do a “mother and son” trip with Melanin Globe, and this trip exceeded my expectations. My son kept us all balanced while immersing in the Ethiopian culture. This was my first time booking with a travel group as I am solo traveler. . Atsinaf was knowledgeable, friendly, and inspiring and provided everyone with the “real” cultural immersive experience. She gave so much of herself to this trip and I have so much respect for her!

A few recommendations:
1. Ensure everyone has the same itinerary. And inform everyone that the itinerary is subject to change at any time. (While this did not bother me at all, it may have affected others)
2. Continue to reiterate that with every immersive experience, internet access may not be available, even if the client has an international plan. Reiterating this from the full life cycle of the trip might help others who love internet access.
3. Explain the meaning of “cultural immersive” prior to booking. This will ensure everyone have the same meaning and understanding of the trip.
4. For those attending the trip a second go round, make sure to explain that every trip is different. This can minimize conflict with peers.

Overall, I soaked up life in Ethiopia. I felt connected, fulfilled, touched and blessed by this experience. Would definitely do all over again! Pictures barely tell the story or experience.

THE absolute BEST way to do group or solo travel. From start to finish, the experience was stress free and memorable. You know what to expect upon booking and the way Melanin Globe went above and beyond with tours far exceeded my expectations. This was my first time in Thailand but certainly not my last thanks to Melanin Globe it was super easy to travel across the world to immerse other cultures. I have no complaints only compliments!!
