Nice, new, clean, comfortable bed! Would stay again. Clear they spent a lot of money to update. Clean exterior, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Property in good location yet quiet. Casino just down the road. Good breakfast area.

Best hotel in Rockford! Only stay here. 5 star service at 2 star prices. Hotel building is cosy / modern. Perfect location. 5min walk from Steak n Shake, Hard Rock Casino, buses to downtown Rockford & Chicago etc. Free breakfast is nice. Hotel room is clean (everything works). Hotel staff are helpful (suit this work).

It's not the Ritz Carlton but it checks all the boxes for a good place to stay for the night. The room was clean. The mattress was comfy. The sink/shower fixtures were sparkling. The exterior and grounds were well kept. Lots of parking and worked well for our truck and 16' trailer without having to resort to crazy gyrations for parking. Would we stay there again? We sure would.

This is not even a 5Star hotel & I was turned away from a place to lay my head & I reserved a room through my Priceline & I’m livid. I was turned away & have no where to go because I was not informed I would have to provide a credit card for an $100 deposit. Now I not only have a place to go, but also no $$ cause I was forced to cancel my reservation but my $$ was taken from my card & that is all I have & have no where else to go & no $$ because I am unable to get my refund placed back on my card…then I asked for a 1800 # to make this report & the desk clerk told me it don’t matter & we don’t have a number to give it’s the owner decision to make this rule & don’t have to inform potential customers of this bogus $100 deposit in an addition to paying for your room…that’s unheard of, needs to be reported to the better business bureau & a scam!!!! On top of this is not even a 5-star hotel & the 5-star hotels that ARE in this area DONT even do that. I’m taking this further because this is highly disturbing & alarming. Now I’m stranded w/ no place to stay & my $$ has been taken….||VERY ANGRY DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER!!!!😡😤

Positive: The staff was very kind. Negative: The room had a terrible stench. I had to keep the air on at all times in order to stand it. The bottom of the bathtub was slimy. The headboard was dirty and dusty.

Very nice clean room, and the grounds seem well taken care of. I felt safe and slept well. The coldest A/C I have ever had in a hotel!! Hardwood floor was a nice touch and appreciated, makes everything feel cleaner.||Breakfast was surprisingly good, not a full spread just the basics but more than I expected, and the dining area was very clean.||Staff was friendly,|Top knotch econolodge!
