Wow! This was our first time at Popeyes and there were 8 of us celebrating my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary! Chuck was our server and everything was absolutely incredible. The service, atmosphere & food far exceeded my expectations. We had onion rings and crab cakes as an appetizer. Both were some of the best we've ever had. The bread and salads were fantastic as well. Steaks, pork chops and fried chicken were all to die for. Because we were celebrating an anniversary, two slices of cheesecake were brought out & were SO good! I can't wait to go back!!

Been here 2x now, and it has been great both times! Low light setting and each dish I've had has been good.

And I love the dessert option tray at the end!

This place is such a gem. The place is clean and beautiful. The food is amazing. And the people are the best. I have made the drive several times from about an hour away. They have an excellent back room for small events as well.

Our first experience a year ago, was amazing!
We talked about it, & making the hour long trip again & returning for another great meal! We suggested it to people all the time!
We just returned last night and did not have the best experience. Lots of disappointment in the food… 6/8 plates, there were issues. Gristly steak, underdone steak, 2 dried out/over cooked/no au jus prime rib (what they are known for && why we wanted to return!), cold chicken breast, cold baked potatoes, flavorless stuffed mushrooms, & no icing on no cake lol (no birthday dessert even offered).

With that all being said, the onion rings were very good! Salad was great & nice portion! (I suggest to the salad dressing on the side, as they are very generous with it.)

Our server Jax was very knowledgeable of the menu & specials (they had about 8 different dinner specials & 2 appetizer specials, which was impressive! However, maybe they are trying to do too much in the kitchen and need to hone in on quality instead of quantity, especially for the prices of dinners.

Not saying we wouldn’t give it another chance, but it would be a 50/50 shot as far as expectations go.

Atmosphere is cool, like a den! The middle room we were in was very dark, needed flashlights for menus & to see temp of steaks

It's one of my favorite restaurants in the St. Louis metro area. The steaks are top notch, the best chicken livers I've ever had. Very reasonable prices. The specials always sound great. Good friendly service. My only complaint is I wish it was closer to home!

The service was prompt and polite. The food was very good. The appetizers were large. I recommend their onion rings. The portions were generous. Each entrée for our group of 4 was enjoyed and required a carryout. I would recommend this place.

Well, we made a second trip and needless to say, it wasn't much different than our first trip. Really disappointed in the food. I ordered a Ribye and it wasn't anything to speak of. My wife ordered the New York Strip and it did not taste like it had any seasoning on it at all and it was tough. Also, they didn't tell us of any specials that they had that night. I just happened to over hear another table but this was after we ordered off the menu.
