We love Black Dog! The owner, Cheryl, went out of her way to make our kayak rental work; we were visiting Duluth for a short period of time and her flexibility on pick up, drop off, and pricing was what we needed to fit our kayaking excursion into our vacation plans. Cheryl made sure we had all of the gear needed for kayaking, right down to the bugspray and sunscreen. She also recommended several spots for us to go where we could see wildlife while on the water, which turned out great! 100% would rent from Black Dog again, thank you!

Very kind, friendly, and helpful folks. Will absolutely use them again for kayak rental. Prices are very fair for kayaks, and although we didn't need the delivery services, that is also very reasonable. Well-stocked little store, top. Five stars!

People are great ! So nice! Loved Otis, camper was extremely clean and so much room and the way it was decorated was awesome! All we had to bring was are clothes.they had everything u could think of and then some. highly recommend! Can't wait to go again and

The owner was great, very helpful too. Nice store with a little of everything - essentials and home decor and craft items. His daughter creates the craft work displayed. We bought a really unique light fixture to hang outside the RV. Also bought bread, paper plates, beer and firewood. He said to poke our heads into the office. Sure enough, there was the big black dog! Very docile.

By far one of the BEST Southern Illinois home town stores around! Absolutely love stopping in to shop or even for a visit. The owners are the friendliest and Zeus their Big Black Dog is the best!!! He greets us at the door! I truly enjoy every visit to Black Dog!

Store is fully stocked with RV/camping essentials plus SO much more!!! Food, Snacks, Beer, Liquor, Home Decor, and SO much More!!!
Camper/Boat Storage is secure and dry.
Kayak rental and delivery is top notch!

We loved this store! We came for a kayak rental on Aug 1st and my husband and I had a blast We also got to check out the store and met the name sake of the store and he was such a sweet doggy. The workers were very nice and helpful We 100% will be coming back sometime
