Fun historic Rt 66 stop to see the road shield, not an original one tho. The service station wasn’t open when I went by and I’m not sure if it opens.

Kudos to the people and agencies who helped to restore this magnificent filling station for decades ago. The door was open which provided a bonus to the visit. The outdoor car lift was been there so long that the tree trunk is growing around the metal frame.

We stoped by in the begging of May, 2023. The was nobody around other than us and another couple traveling Route 66. It's a nice old service station. But unfortunately, we didn't get to go inside.

As mentioned in the EZ66 guide following Route 66 by Jerry McClanahan, a superb restored Shell gas pump station.

It appeared closed, but read the sign on window saying, " yes we are open".

So tried door, but no one was inside there, so took a peek inside and it's full of old 50 and 60's relics. An old Coke vedning machine and much more. An absolute gem.

They got a cool ink stamp for you to use, I stamped my hand!

Its a Sunday so it's closed for inside access. Very cool restored Shell Gas station along Route 66. Glad someone had the insight to preserve to place.
