I have stayed here several times in the past month and have found the experience pleasant and affordable. This is one of the few motels left with available smoking rooms which are becoming a thing of the past. I appreciate that. Mike and his staff are always very attentive to my limited needs and seem to care about their customers. If you are looking for affordable overnight accommodation with or without pets, I highly recommend you give Motel 6 an opportunity to serve you.

Positive: I stayed in a brand-new completely remodel room for three nights. I?ll brand-new furnishings beds, bathroom even the heat and air conditioner unit was brand new. I think they?re rating should be much higher personally staff was very friendly. Negative: I did not like the fact that a lot of the reviews online were so negative have you stayed here before and didn?t like it you should give it a second chance because it is much nicer now that it?s been remodel the owners done a great.

I needed an affordable option as I was visiting for a cheer competition. The rate was amazing, I booked online. The staff was pleasant. No issues when checking in. The room seemed ok at first glance. However I turned the lights on in the middle of the night only to see a roach going from the window area. Unfortunately packing up and driving home wasn’t happening right then. I slept with the lights on and also the remote would not turn the tv on and timed out after some time. I had to keep getting up to turn it on. The heat in the room was nice looking and the shower was nice. Please bomb the place. Also being in a non smoking room and smelling straight smoke sucked.

Location was great. Service was nice. BUT ....... Our room was nice and clean but the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a wooden board. The seats in our vehicle is more comfortable than the bed. Will never stay there again

Had cockroach in room. Checked out early on a week stay. This place is what it is. Pretty shady. Cheap but gross. Painted shower floor is peeling up and plugging drain.

Positive: "" Negative: Hotel changed room from queen no smoking to double beds upon check-in. Hair all over sink and tub, and reeked of cigarette smoke. Told them I wanted queen, and new room was dirty and reeked of cigarette smoke and weed. I left and stayed at different hotel

Don't Book! ONLINE they will definitely deny you all
Because you are able to find better promotional rates online.
These people want you to pay their prices$ 60-70, not worth it there. It's not our fault that we were able to find better prices online, and the manager should not be jealous of it and deny us after already paid online.
I booked online 2nd time and the owner seemed angry and kicked me and another worker out and we had to wait 2 pay period for our refund online and also had to find another place to book same day what an inconvenience, as if the owner or manager knew that today was gona be the day to ruined it for us. Be careful with this hotel when doing online booking!
Motel 6 in Normal should not be tied with 3rd party online booking if they are going to deny you at the last minute.

I like the rooms an only hotel in town that not only do they not charge a pet 100 pet deposit they dont charge a pet deposit at all good an reasonable price
