Went on the Chicago Prohibition Bus Tour yesterday and had the most informative & enjoyable experience. As a lifelong Chicagoan, I learned so much from John regarding prohibition and the four establishments we visited. John is such a knowledgeable guide and told me things about my hometown that I never knew before. If you're either from out-of-town or a Chicago native, you will have a blast going to the places on the tour which have so much character & history. Have a drink at each bar and transport yourself to a unique time in history. Kudos to John & team who will provide you with a super Chicago experience!

Went on the Original Chicago Prohibition Tour (bus tour) with a bachelorette party. Our group had a great time. We went to four different locations, in photos, and were surprised at how much we learned on the tour. The locations we visited were fun and had great drinks. We even had time for a quick food break at one of the locations. Our guide Jonathan was very informative and made the learning fun. As Chicago-suburb locals, it was fun to learn about the city we grew up near. We would definitely consider going on it again!

Jonathan was fantastic. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the tour/era. You can feel the history in the stops and the drinks are top notch. Highly recommend to anybody in the city.

We go to Chicago multiple times a year and I had not heard about this tour. Caught wind of it on a local radio show so figured we would give it a try on our next visit. We did the walking tour and it was amazing!! Super fun and super informative. Our tour guide was a great storyteller and was very colorful in his descriptions of the historic people and events which made the tour even more enjoyable. Definitely worth going on when in town and will recommend to friends and family. We enjoyed it so much we will do the bus tour on our next visit.

What a fun experience! The guide was interesting and attentive to all of our questions and gave us amazing information on prohibition and the players there in. We saw a few cool places to visit and we even saw an underground safe as well as a hidden room and what may be another secret Well worth it and would do something like this again!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Hidden in Plain Sight walking tour. Jonathan was knowledgeable and entertaining. The stories behind the featured pubs and lounges were fascinating. I'd highly recommend this tour regardless if you intend to purchase drinks or not.

When we visit a new city I love trying to find out about local history and find local bars. Tour had both. My wife and I were met by Sydney and quickly introduced to about 20 of our tour mates. Sydney was not only a knowledgeable and a great story teller but very funny. We toured 4 unique local cocktail bars that operated as speakeasys in the 1920's. At each stop there was an opportunity to order excellent cocktails from accomplished and skilled mixologists. By the end of the trip we had not only seen 4 great neighborhoods in Chicago and increased our understanding of prohibition but also had the most fun that we had ever had on a tour. Well done..... Its a must for Chicago

Our group of 6 took the walking tour while visiting Chicago and we had an absolute blast! Jon was a great guide and so much fun to talk to before, during, and after the tour. He has so much knowledge and is just a great host across the board. This tour was easily one of the top highlights of our trip and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something fun, interesting, and educational while visiting the city.
