This was the most worst hotel experience I've even had. I was enjoying my workout, and I am very gently putting down the weights, but the staff comes in and it starts yelling full on on top of her lungs yelling at me to stop slamming the weights, even though I was not, she said that it goes throughout the whole hotel and I was just too stunned to speak so I just left. Thanks for ruining my workout. Next, I had a very rude interaction in the pool. I was sitting down by myself and a girl is swimming in there and she says are you gonna actually swim or just keep looking at me that is the most rudest interaction I've ever had there was so many druggies around here and I just did not feel safe in my hotel room nor just walking around the hotel I went in the pool once after that experience because I just did not wanna go over there again, the breakfast was good. I really liked the waffles. Some people were good. Some people were bad. I never went to the gym again never went to the pool. This is incredibly bad. Some people were being obnoxious yelling so this is my review if you don't wanna listen to me, don't listen to me , if you're staying here, I hope you have the same experience I did. And my room absolutely stunk.

This is a high-quality customer-oriented hotel that satisfied us fully. Logistics of a move required we stay a week each in two hotels. I won't comment beyond saying that our week in the first hotel was disappointing. Our stay at Best Western Jacksonville was a delight. From the time we were greeted during check in by a friendly and pleasant manager, who inquired several times about whether the hotel could do anything for us during our stay, to the time we left, we were highly satisfied with the quality of accommodations and services. Every staff member was solicitous and sought ways to help us. Daily room service, although we did not think it necessary each day, made our room as fresh as the first day. Breakfast attendants sought to help when it appeared we were missing something. This is one hotel we would happily recommend to any traveler through this area.

My stay in this hotel was to have a good time and relax with my wife after she went through surgery. She was ordered by her surgeon to walk around and exercise for a bit, because of the surgery she was wearing sleepwear (long sleeve shirt and long pants) and using a walker to walk around the lobby, sitting for a couple of minutes and walking back to the room. As soon as we got to the lobby the female employee quickly told my wife and I that we can't walk and sit on the lobby because my wife looked like she was sick, which I explained to her that that was not the case that she just came from surgery and needed to walk around for her recuperation, etc. My wife and I felt at that moment that we were unfairly treated, we felt offended and felt rejected. Every couple of hours we kept doing her mandatory walks and sitting in the lobby for couple of minutes and going back through our stay and every time we did she kept saying that we cannot do that, we weren't doing anything wrong but she kept doing that to us, one of those occasions on our stay even before we sat down she told us that we had to go back to our room because supposedly there were some kids that were passing and going thru the lobby, that was the worst feeling of rejection I ever felt. I am a Diamond Guest almost becoming Diamond Select soon I've stayed at Best Western every time I need a hotel as you have seen and I always felt welcomed at every stay but our last 2 (our second stay ,which was the one before this one, she told my wifethat she cannot work out in the gym because she was wearing a sports bra and there were children which there were non and no one went thru) stays at the Best Western here in Jacksonville, IL have been the worst stays I ever had, and I am not talking about the rooms they were perfect as always, I'm just talking about her that one staff member that works there every day and made us felt unwelcomed, this would probably be our last stay at this the hotel in Jacksonville IL, I hope this can be taking care of somehow so others don't experience the same thing we experienced.

Jeannie is amazing!!! She was extremely friendly, helpful, and has amazing customer service!! The breakfast is amazing good selection, great times. The pool was clean and warm. The only issue I had was the a/c wasn't the best I had to keep it on 60 the whole time I was there and still was stuffy but my husband and I come down we will be staying here!!! Jeannie even called me after check out to let me know we left a pair of shorts!!! She went above and beyond!!!! Could t have asked for a better stay!!!!

Do not rent a room from here they will lie and say they something on camera they did not correct to keep your deposit it's not that fancy and the workers are really rude and judgmental! They already got an excuse to keep your deposit when you rent the room they will say anything! VERY unprofessional and rude workers !!

Room was clean, service is good, but the pool water was FREEZING and the entire pool room was cold. Really upset that the hot tub and sauna were taken out but other than that which is the main reason for my stay.

Highly recommend this hotel as a place to rest your head. Hot breakfast is delicious, rooms are clean, pool was great, and Jeanie simply goes above and beyond to make your stay great. Breakfast was always hot with a good variety. If you’re a waffle fan, they are delicious. Rooms were spotless and the pool was immaculate. Thanks Jeanie for a wonderful stay! Easily the best stay in 100 miles radius. We originally planned to be here 3rd through the 4th during our move from California to Pennsylvania. Our truck unfortunately broke down, so we were stuck until the 8th. Not easy with 3 kids and 2 dogs. They were more than accommodating of our situation. The staff were friendly and helpful. But Jeanie made us feel right at home. By the end of our stay, the kids couldn’t wait to get up in the morning and see her. Now days, you just don’t get customer service the was she serves it up. If you are in the Jacksonville area and need to rest your head, this is your place to be.

Positive: The location was great. We literally walked to get food at night from the hotel. Negative: Not much to choose from for breakfast. Carpet in the room looked like it needed to be changed out, it was so worn. The room was very stuffy/smelled each time you went in. We tried opening the window a bit each night but it didn't really help the smell.
