It appears that the hotel has been remodeled recently, which definitely shows when you come through the front door. Everything was sparkling clean throughout the hotel!! The front desk staff is very knowledgeable/helpful, and very pleasant! Our room was very large, lots of space and nicely decorated/appointed! The bed was VERY comfortable with a choice of pillows for added comfort. The bathroom was a nice sized bathroom, especially when compared to most hotels. (The ONLY drawback that I can even think of is the water pressure in the shower was somewhat weak.) The breakfast had a large selection of hot & cold offerings, again very clean & well organized. The breakfast seating area was large, comfortable, clean and very welcoming!!

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express many times, and the personnel are always friendly and helpful. On our last stay, we inadvertently left 4 items of clothing in the room. The front desk and Housekeeping graciously searched and found the small bag of clothes and held them for us until we could return to retrieve them. The customer service was excellent, and we are very grateful to them for their efforts.

Staff was friendly. The room was clean. This property needs some TLC. The pool area needs to appear cleaner and fresher. The hot tub was filled with cement and not fun to look at. Towels were abundant. The windows in our room had mold in the crevices and the air conditioner was falling apart. There was a blinking red light on it that was annoying when trying to sleep. All in all, it’s convenient and a good value.

Wonderful staff. Beautiful facility. Clean and bright rooms. The people in the next room all night long were very very noisy and at 2:30 in the morning we're banging on walls etc. Other than that issue everything else was just right

I stayed at this location for a week and was very happy with the stay.
The staff are warm and friendly.
Breakfast is suitable for a day of work.
Coffee available all day.
Not noisy- nice view while eating breakfast.
All of the other guests were professionals and kind at breakfast.
I recommend this hotel.
(only one complaint- I normally sleep on an Extra Firm mattress due to lower back troubles-
the beds here are on the softer side-)

We always look forward to our stay at Holiday Inn Express Lake Zurich. It's our home away from home. We visit our son and family, and have been a frequent guest, the past 6 years. We love the location! Staff is friendly, and we are met with smiles and pleasant exchanges. Thank you, for our wonderful stay at Christmas. We look forward to our next visit.

This holiday inn express is as clean and well kept of a hotel that you can get. The pool is nice for the little ones and the workout room has plenty to offer but the equipment is breaking down a little and showing age. Breakfast doesn’t start until 630 which makes it hard to get to for the early morning checkouts, so we missed that.

Essentials are expected in a convenience market. Especially hygienic supplies. Why were there THREE different types of condoms available and ZERO feminine hygiene supplies? Sometimes nature arrives early or unexpectedly. No liners, no pads, no tampons. Nothing. Unacceptable.
