Captain Mike took us out to Looe Key reef to snorkel and then went fishing until dark. Captain Mike is a super good guy, easygoing and patient. Perfect boat and captain for an inexperienced group like us. We had a great time.

Great trip fishing and snorkeling, guide really knows what he's doing and doesn't try to tell you what to do or give you attitude. Pretty rare for a boat captain. We appreciated all the accommodations he made for us, and the photos he took underwater!

Only one con: We were charged more than we agreed upon because our trip went longer than expected but he should have told us that up front and his overtime rate. I would have been happy to return earlier.

Ultimately he did such a great job that I didn't mind the extra charge as a tip anyways 😉

We had a great afternoon combo trip with Captain Mike. We snorkeled at Looe Key Reef, went fishing, and watched a lovely sunset. Beautiful waters and sights. Saw an amazing spotted eagle ray which was the highlight of the entire trip. Can’t wait to eat our catch! Thank you Captain Mike. Looking forward to next time!

We decided to go with Lower Keys Adventures and Captain Mike for our charter because we could do some fishing and snorkeling all in the Eco Tour. Captain Mike is a very knowledgeable and capable boat captain and works very hard to give you the very best day on the water. He has a lot of fishing experience and will explain what he is doing and why, so its a real education. Captain Mike is the kind of guy that goes from being a total stranger to friend in short order and I cannot recommend him more highly.

Captain Mike at the Big Pine Adventures was one of the best thrills I did this summer.

I found his company by accident. It is hidden away and off the beaten path in the Florida Keys but is well worth the drive. If you have any love of the authentic, like I do, than Captain Mike at the Big Pine Adventures is well worth your time.

My family and I spent the day amongst the coral reefs and gorgeous fish. Swam with the nurse sharks and chased stingrays! Captain Mike guided us to each new location and grilled our dinner right on his boat.

I cannot see myself visiting Miami and not returning for a repeat of this adventure.
