What a fantastic sightseeing experience. Captain Dan really knows his way around the area. I would not have wanted to take a boat out myself as there are numerous lakes, or as Dan called them "pools," that are linked together by waterways and marshy looking areas. I would have gotten lost on my own. While there were places where there were houses to look at along the banks of the lakes/pools, we spent a lot of time boating through uninhabited areas and what can be described as "Old Florida" habitat. We saw many types of birds, including a bald eagle. Dan is very good at pointing things out and talking about the history of the area. The pontoon boat is clean with lots of seating and a Bimini top over the entire seating area. It can go fast, too. I highly recommend Captain Dan's Boat Trips.

We have gone a couple of times. He knows these lakes like the back of his hand. His boat is amazing clean and he gives a great tour Very friendly. Sunset was amazing we took snack and he showed us a wonderful time. Would recommend to anyone

Captain Dan took me duck hunting opening weekend of duck season and his service was top notch, we shot some great ducks and had an amazing time, I will most certainly be booking another trip with him this season!

Awesome duck hunting experience! We showed up at Dans lake property he already had the duck boat in the water and was ready for us to load up and get in. Great scenery on the way out seeing a lot of wildlife. When we got to the spot Dan put out a lot of duck decoys. He had nice pullover camouflage blinds in the boat so the ducks couldn't see us. We had a variety of different species of ducks fly over us. My son and I had an awesome time!

Dan was an amazing host on and off the water. He knows lake Tsala Apopka like the back of his hand and he KNOWS where the ducks fly! I probably saw over a hundred ducks today and many came in close enough to his decoy spread for me to shoot. Buuuut I can't shoot a shotgun very well evidently 😐. I collected no ducks but had a hell of a great time! Cap'n Dan is just a great guy. Calm and collected, soft spoken and full of advice. I'll be back next year after I do some practice at the skeet range!
