I cannot recommend this agency enough! I had a wonderful experience planning my Nicaraguan vacation with Ms Nancy Ebel. She made the entire planning process incredibly seamless and easy. From choosing a destination to flights and activities, I barely had to lift a finger. Ms. Ebel is incredibly detailed and a great communicator, as well as taking into account all your personal preferences (down to the letter!) when planning for you. Thank you Hills!

Celebrating our retirement, we turned to Hills Travel because we really haven’t had a real vacation in many, many years. We didn’t give them a lot of advance time to plan our trip, about 6 weeks. Wow! Nancy pulled out all the stops for us without going over budget! I actually cried in their office today as she went through our itinerary. They really truly go the extra miles! Erin was a HUGE help and made my trip stress free! There were difficulties that came up during late hours of the night she was on top of them and figured them out immediately for me. She gave me many different great recommendations of resorts/islands to go to. She is the best travel agent that I’ve worked with ever, she definitely showed how much she cares and prioritizes my satisfaction and vacation over everything!

They treat people coming in like a pay check never nicely they also treat their delivery people like dirty. Nancy is always rude to me no matter how nice I am towards her she acts like I'm beneath her always making me feel like I'm stupid and I need to treat her like high priority. I will make sure my friends and family avoid this place

If you want a travel agency that is attentive to your needs, returns phone calls and e-mails promptly and makes you feel as though you are their only client, this agency is NOT for you.
Our first phone call and follow up phone appointment got us so excited for an upcoming group trip. We talked about everything that we wanted to book including airfare, hotel before the cruise, cruise, private transfers, expedited customs, and a tour and dinner after disembarking the ship.
Since we were joining a group going on a cruise, we felt it was best to all use the same travel agent. Never again. In hind site, I would have just booked the cruise with the group and book everything else either myself or with my own travel agent that I have used for years. After our phone appointment, we thought that she was going to book everything and contact us shortly with all the details.
Well...all did not go that way. We had the same experience as others in these reviews. From the time we booked up to the day we left on the trip (booked beginning of Sept and trip was the end of January) many phone calls and e-mails would go unreturned and unanswered. I won't go into every detail, but let's just say that we had many sleepless nights and anxiety ridden days from questions that never got answered and travel arrangements that were not booked in a timely manner. The transfers and last day tour were still being booked the day we left for the airport.
If a company is too busy or can't handle the travel requests, they should call potential clients back and explain. We truly feel as though she really didn't want or need our business. The agent I normally use in PA always makes me feel as though I am her only client even if she is swamped with making other people's travel arrangements.
I will leave a bit of positivity however. Please know that our trip was AWESOME despite all of the above issues. Hills Travel did comp our transfers, expedited customs, first class airfare and circle island tour the last day. Also because of their virtuoso affiliation we got an upgraded room at the resort we stayed at before the cruise. Also, our cabin was upgraded on the cruise. We GREATLY appreciated all of these wonderful comps and upgrades, but unfortunately it doesn't erase all of the stress and sleepless nights we endured during the booking of all the arrangements.

Best vacations ever! Our family has used Hill's Travel multiple times. Never disappointed. Trips carefully planned with our family's style in mind. On one occasion immediate attention was given to an overseas flight cancellation. Trip saved. On another trip, I had a hotel snafu. No headaches! No worries. Hill's took care of everything.

Hills Travel is wonderful. Our Portugal trip became impossible due to Covid, and Joan and the Erin stepped in and helped us to regroup. Now we're on our way to Vermont and then NYC, all thanks to their listening to us and making suggestions for places to stay and what to do. Mainly, they were professional, calming and imaginative and mad lemonade out of a possible sour lemon. Thanks so much!
