EVERYONE PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!!! First of all, I have to say that this agency lacks a proper organizational structure and does not seem very professional in any way. Whenever you call the agency and an employee answers the phone, it is as if you are contacting a Hialeah factory. No one speaks English, and the employees yell at you while talking to you; they don't give you a chance to speak. The employees are a bunch of rabbles. Upon paying for my vacation in full, I received an email in Spanish. I asked Yanelkys, the sales representative who booked my trip, to please send me the information in English. As I didn't understand Spanish very well. According to her, the document is in Spanish only. It is strange that a travel agency can only provide documentation in Spanish when we live in the United States, where English is the primary language. That was the first incident. Secondly, Yanelkys sent me an email two days before our trip informing me that our flight time was changed to 3:00 pm. We were originally scheduled to leave at 11:30 am. Arriving at the airport, we were told that the flight was delayed and it would arrive at 4:30 pm. As time passed, no one had any information about the flight. When I called Yanelkys to ask what was going on with our flight and why anyone was not able to provide information, she was unresponsive. Shortly after 6:30 pm, the flight arrived, and boarding began at 7 pm. After leaving Miami at 7:30 pm, we landed in Punta Cana at 10 pm. Mind you, we got to the airport at noon. That's 7 hours waiting for our flight. We lost a full day at the airport waiting for our flight. By the time we got to the hotel, it was 11 p.m. I am thankful for the great service I received at the hotel. However, the food wasn't very good. On the day we leave Punta Cana, our flight was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Our flight was delayed again, so we left Punta Cana at 9:10 p.m. and arrived in Miami at 11:10 p.m. The airlines they use are awful. All of them are charter flights, which are terrible. On both, the way to and from, the seats were broken. Risa travel is the most inefficient travel company I have ever used. The positive Google reviews are all false. They lack professional ethics. Whenever I called Yanelkys to ask for her, they told me she was busy and then, two minutes later, she would text me and ask what I needed. I never received a courtesy call back. She always communicated with me through text. Despite her busy schedule, she had the time to text but not the time to call you. The few times I spoke with her on the phone, she would ramble. These people are a complete mess. Their communication is poor. A travel agency helps you find a great deal, a nice destination to visit, and becomes your go-to source for all your travel needs. Organizing a vacation can be very time-consuming and stressful. Their job is to help you professionally. Avoid traveling with Risa travel and don't waste your money. It would be unfair for anyone to have to go through what I did during those 7 hours spent waiting for my flight to Punta Cana and those 3 hours spent waiting for my flight to Miami. Little babies and kids were running around the airport stressed, crying, and uncomfortable. This was a nightmare. After spending all that money to go on vacation, you deserve to receive a superior level of service and a stress-free vacation. A vacation is something we all look forward to and save for each year. It is disappointing to receive such poor service. FYI.. The airlines we used was Sky Cana.

Very good experience traveling with Risa. Everything went extremely smooth from the transportation all the way to checking into the resort. Risa travel did a very good job getting us prepared for the vacation and ensuring we had all the needed documents. I really enjoyed how Risa makes it their mission to make your vacation as smooth as possible. Will definitely be traveling with Risa travel again.

My family and I went to Punta Cana mid June and stayed at RIU PALACE BAVARO. We had a great wonderful time. The Hotel is beautiful, the room is very nice and very clean. The service in the front desk, rooms, restaurants, pool, beach is excellent! The staff is very professional, courteous, helpful and pleasant. The food is great and they have many varieties to choose from but the only thing is that there’s no Lobster in June due to mating season, we will go in August next time. We didn’t go on any excursion due to fear but will do them next time. I loved my trip and will return every year and to the same Hotel.
