We spent a wonderful relaxing week here and it is by far one of the best vacations that we have ever had. It is very private and quiet. The house had a neat vibe and was clean and well stocked as to linens and kitchen items. The fishing from the beach was awesome. We caught trout, reds and black drum. While the house is well lived in, it is very comfortable and has amazing views. We saw dolphins and the Eagles as well as other birds and sea life.

Very disappointing. The house and property are beautiful, but house many problems. We were told the day we arrived that there was a problem with the well water. And due to no water pressure, it impeded taking showers, washing dishes and clothes and cleaning up from the beach.
The manager did take care of the rat problem, thankfully. Several appliances did not work properly due to age of equipment. Mattresses and furniture were very worn, stained and uncomfortable.
Not an area to swim, but the shallow water allowed our 2 year old to enjoy the water and the sand bars revealed many hermit crabs. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the 2 foot water. I asked for a partial refund as the lack of water n other things had affected the quality of our vacation, but the owner refused any refund.

House is a little dated, but overall it was clean and functional. Great views, awesome beach, and the kids loved the low tide exploration. Great spot for two families. Host was quick to respond and everything was as described.

I will explain the three stars after the issues are resolved and will advise outcome.
The owner was very gracious and worked with us . Great place with two Bald Eagles that we saw every day. Looking forward to returning.

Very nice stay for our group of business friends. We have 10 adults and were totally comfortable. View is excellent and house has all you need. Hurricane damage is amazing. And even more so that this hoise seemed spared!
