Me and my wife spent 4 nights at the Galapagos Safari Camp and it was easily one of our best vacations we ever took. It was such a relaxing trip even with our busy itinerary because of the way the guides and staff treated us and made sure everything was planned accordingly so our minds could be at ease and in vacation mode. I give full credit to Marisa from Southern Explorations as she set this entire trip up for us from landing on the mainland of Ecuador to returning home. She always responded to our emails quickly whenever we had questions/concerns. We are so glad we went through Marisa and Southern explorations! 10/10 experience!

I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Peru with Southern Explorations, and it was truly unforgettable. Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu had always been a dream of mine, and I couldn’t have chosen a better company to make it a reality.

During our trip, we also explored several towns across Peru and enjoyed amazing adventures, including biking through the Sacred Valley and climbing the Via Ferrata. The guides were exceptionally experienced, knowledgeable, and provided outstanding service every step of the way.

Every aspect of the tour—from accommodations and transportation to meals and activities—was meticulously planned and executed to perfection. We usually do all traveling planning ourselves. Due to the complexity of this trip, we worked with Southern Exploration. Jonathan and Deanna organized an incredible trip for us. It was a very complex trip over 28 days, 12 planes, 10 hotels, and covering Antarctica, Easter Island and several sites in Chile. The planning was exceptional and very well coordinated to extract the most out of the time we had available. They also helped promptly with any issues occurring during the trip. Their guide selection was incredible, the hotels and food were as good as it gets. We highly recommend Southern Exploration for your South America trip.

We had a great experience with Jonathon at Southern Explorations. We booked a private trip to Chile, Bolivia and Peru. The guides and drivers were great. We changed our itinerary several times and Southern explorations was flexible with the changes with no extra charges. I loved their App. I could view all the trip details in the App. The whole trip went smoothly.

An incredible experience touring Peru with Southern Explorations and would definitely go with them again. We did the Active Machu Picchu tour and was an experience of a lifetime! From exploring Cusco to climbing cliffs (Via Ferrata), downhill mtn biking and entering Machu Picchu after days of hiking and exploring the Inca Trail. Hiking the Inca trail, visiting Machu Pichu and the Sacred Valley was a once in a lifetime experience that was made truly unforgettable by the Southern Explorations team! Every detail was perfectly curated from beginning to end and can't thank them enough for their professionalism but also making the trip full of laughter and adventure. I still can't believe how we ate delicious 3 course meals the way we did along the trail!!! and here I was thinking that I was going to be stuck eating protein bars! We had the privilege to hike the Inca Trail and I have to say it was one of the most remarkable travel experience we ever had. The Southern Explorations team has been absolutely amazing. From organizing to handling the whole trip, everything has been professional and seamless. They have prepared us well, the communication was easy and the trek itself was beautiful and organized in such detail. It's an amazing experience and the food was so good! The whole staff, helping us on the trail, the team guiding us and the team behind the scenes organizing everything were wonderful and we can highly recommend them!

Southern Explorations has been there for us on multiple trips to South and Central America. On this last trip to Ecuador, we hadn't made any plans but while there, Marisa was able to put together a package for both the Amazon and Galapagos - very last minute (I think she was able to put a tour together for us in 3 days for the Galapagos)! Every driver, guide and support staff were professional and knowledgeable as well as delightful to get to know. Can't thank Southern Explorations enough for a wonderful trip.
