Booked a dinner for V day. Called and got reservations. When I arrived my reservation was not in their paper system. Someone failed to mark it down. They were way understaffed. Everything from drink to food was a VERY long wait. They claimed to have lost my dinner ticket and the food was over an hour wait. When it arrived it was cold and my fish was dry. It was missing a portion of the meal. I asked for it and it came out after my meal was done. It took them two hours to get us 2 rounds of drinks. Seriously. The owner scolded his busboy in front of customers and he appeared to cry. Looked like a young family member or something. I get family owned businesses, but you need to flex up when it’s busy and sometimes have to hire out of the family to do that. But it’s the leaders fault your overrun not the staff. Don’t scold people in public. Bad for the vibe and I heard other customers mention it as well. He reduced the bill and I appreciate it, but it didn’t make up for the bad experience.

We were shocked by how wonderful this restaurant is, the tapas were delicious, we got the smoked salmon and arugula and carpaccio with arugula and also the grand tomahawk steak, it was spectacular. We went here to celebrate a special occasion and it was perfect. Great music and vibe, a hidden gem!

Loved the vibe. Great atmospher for date or just sitting and chatting. Great wait staff. The drinks were good strong the way we like them. Food was delicious. Prices for food and drink were reasonable. Plenty of off street parking.

I enjoyed Solun on a Tuesday evening about 7pm and it was a full house . The staff. Is truly friendly serving everyone with a smile. I ordered the tequila steam mussels that are awesome. I had the seista margarita. It was good . I also had a shot of the house made limoncello that was delicious and smooth. The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back yet fancy. I could definitely take a date here, chill with the friends here or enjoy a solo time at Solun.

Been to this establishment 3 times now. Every visit was an excellent dining (and drinking) experience. Great service, great food and drink, friendly atmosphere make for a great time. My advice, try it, I know you’ll love it.

I was expecting the restaurant to be more crowded in a Sunday afternoon, but it was a good thing that it wasn't. There was only one waitress there, plus others helping cleaning up the tables. All of them did a great job! The waitress was energetic and quickly sat us down. Being a party of four, we were seated on some table that were put together right across the front door. I have to say that the interior is quite dark. Not the best lighting, plus having red and black painted walls and deco doesn't help. After we ordered, it didn't take long fir our food to arrive, even though the Paella was said to take around 35 minutes to make. My wife said that it was good. I'm not a seafood lover, so I didn't taste it. I had the Short Ribs, which were very good. For our two kids, we ordered the Parrillada for Two (tasteful). We also had the Ham Croquettes (good) and for the first time some Patatas Bravas (expected more flavor and spiciness). I believe that the prices are a little high, but portions were big, and the food (according to everyone) was very good.

Great ambience, cool decor. We only went to try the happy hour so can’t comment much on food. We ordered tacos and potato bravas which was good. Cocktails were terrific! Will go again for dinner date.

Good food, if a bit pricey. The ambiance can be noisy on a weekend night, especially if they have live musicians in.

The variety of the tapas plates is the best thing about Solun. They have a wide selection of cold and hot plates, with cheeses, meats, sea food, etc. Someone for everyone! Free parking lot.
