Excellent experience. Extremely good value, our Yamaha SxS was comfortable, powerful, and well maintained. The instructions given were thoroughly laid out and easy to understand by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They also provided us with a cooler and waters on a very hot day. Trip guidance were provided with a map and a tablet with an app. We were never lost and very confident with the system they have in place.

We saw several antelope on the trail. Beautiful red rock formations!!! Also visited the river to cool off at the tail end of the trip. The kids had an absolute ball!

We highly recommend this service to anyone who loves adventure and the folks here will cater the routes to fit your experience level.

We had the absolute best time! We went for my bachelorette trip and the entire group just loved every second. Cat was an absolute gem and the best help! If you are looking for a good time in AZ, and want to have some fun, see some BEAUTIFUL sites and interact with a phenomenal staff, then check this place out for sure!

Our family did an ATV and kayak adventure which took most of the day. It was WONDERFUL! The ATVs were comfortable, safe and had a detailed map and GPS to guide us. Trail was great for kids. Our son said “it was the best”! Highly recommend this company and tour, worth every penny. All staff members took great care of us!

Superb customer service and an absolutely amazing trail!

Kat at the front desk was phenomenal, very friendly, accommodating, and very encouraging and enthusiastic. We stayed in Cottonwood for a week, took multiple trips to Sedona and originally wanted to rent ATV there. But considering we had 2 smaller kids ( 5 and 11), we didn't want to add an extra 1 hour of driving back and forth to Sedona. We are so glad we chose this place. They accommodated our 5 years old by allowing to place his car seat in the vehicle, genius, none of the Sedona rentals wanted to do that or had age restrictions.

We were afraid we might not see enough of the "Red Rock", WRONG, you get to see plenty, and the trails were empty! We got the Outlaw route, and couldn't be happier. You get some smooth riding, some bumpy riding, and some very bumpy riding, but it is not bad at all and my husband managed without much experience. They provide you with a GPS and a map, which was extremely helpful.

We highly recommend this place, and the price is very good for the value, the vehicles look new and clean, I mean, just a great company with a great service, you will not regret renting here. I would have given 25 stars, but Google has limitations 🙂

We rented a 4-seater for 4 hours for our son’s birthday. We had a wonderful day exploring the area with beautiful views. They mapped out where we wanted to go with turn by turn instructions on a tablet and paper map. Loved that we didn’t have follow a group and we’re allowed to explore on our own.

My wife and I had such an awesome time we booked again later in the week. The first time I can’t remember the woman’s name, she mapped us an unbelievably beautiful route. We saw very few other people which made us feel this beautiful place was all our own. She was super helpful and she made sure my wife had blankets to keep her hip comfortable as she recently had hip replacement surgery. On the second trip Cat was also super helpful and informative. She mapped out a trail for us that had Indian ruins and beautiful scenery. We will be back next year and will book with Vortex ATV.

This was the highlight of our 5,000 mile cross country trip! It's exactly what we were looking for when renting an ATV. The owners and staff are the best. They provided a map, GPS and offered a cooler if we needed it, but we had our own. There were no crowds ( other than a few cattle we passed), and we were able to take in the scenery at our own pace. Next time we will book a longer ride! Cat made sure our ride was unforgettable!
