Ron was a top tier scuba instructor and was kind enough to work around my crazy schedule in coordinating private lessons. I had such a good experience that I came back to Scuba Shack to buy all my scuba gear despite living in FL. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Highly Recommend.

I wish I could give this place ten stars. I've gotten certified, bought all my gear, and joined them for a couple of group trips. Every part of it has been fantastic. The classes and training truly prepared me for scuba and even to properly handle surprise mishaps underwater, despite being a new diver. The owners were able to walk me through all equipment and pricing options and I've found everything they told me during that process to be very true, both through my own positive experiences and through the difficulties I've seen other divers have when they didn't have the proper gear. The group trips have been nothing short of incredible! Through them I received many hours of one-on-one instruction and advice from some of the most experienced divers and teachers one can find. So glad I found this place, very excited for more classes and trips with them soon.

I recently took lessons and the open water test with Scuba Shack to get my Open Water Scuba certification. They were able to get 2 of us in even though it was the very end of the season. They thoroughly explained everything and made sure we were confident every step of the way. They are extremely knowledgeable on the PADI programs (not just open water), many dive shops around the world, all the equipment you can imagine, and many diving locations. We are both ecstatic as this has been a bucket list item that we can finally check off. We cannot wait for our first trip as certified divers and hope to dive with them on one of the incredible trips they always have planned. The equipment they sell from fins to masks are of the highest quality and they explain the differences to ensure you find the right fit. Everyone we met that works there is above and beyond friendly and proficient in diving. This was truly a wonderful experience and we would recommend Scuba Shack to anyone interested. Thank you, Scuba Shack for everything- including suffering the cold November water with us (thank goodness for 7mm wetsuits) and we can't wait to do business with you in the future!

Scuba Shack is the BEST place to learn how to SCUBA dive... They know how to take care of students. Make sure everyone is safe and proficient and show them how to have fun under water!

I was previously an instructor with them... and if it wasn't for health related issues would have continued my career with them.

I took advanced open water from Monty. Good guy, and great instructor. Scuba shack has a great selection of dive gear. Took a dive trip with them to Little Cayman Island. What a great time I had. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to learn to dive.

I have not been to this shop yet, full disclosure. I was diving with a buddy in jamestown with a new bcd and wetsuit and definitely didn't bring enough wieght. The instructor from this shop told me to flood my wetsuit completely and gave me 8# of wieght so I could dive with my friend. Super helpful, very friendly, and very happy to help. Can't wait untill I can get to the shop and thank them in person. 100% recommend. Great people.
