We had such an incredible experience with Sea Creature Adventures, and it’s all thanks to Nick! From the very start, Nick was super organized and made sure to have a call with us beforehand to understand our group’s experience level and comfort in the water. It was clear he wanted to tailor the experience to fit us perfectly, which we really appreciated.

Nick came fully prepared with all the equipment we could need and brought plenty of options to ensure everyone felt comfortable before heading into the water. He was so flexible and made sure we felt safe, warm, and comfortable the entire time—he even brought hot cocoa for the group afterward, including the non-divers, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The location Nick chose was absolutely stunning. It was easy to get to, and the access was seamless. It felt like we had rented a private beach, and the beauty of the spot made the experience even more special. And the post-dive eats? Oh my goodness, they were out of this world—and Nick prepared them himself!

Nick’s patience, kindness, and genuine care made the entire adventure unforgettable. He’s accommodating, thoughtful, and just an all-around amazing guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful for all the effort Nick put into making it perfect. Thank you, Nick, for your help, support, and generosity—you made this an adventure we’ll never forget!

The lobster hunting experience is the single coolest thing you will do in California. I can't think of a more unique and well planned experience. Nick tries to make each outing a bit better and is constantly improving and making the experience better and better... which is crazy because it's already AMAZING

This was one of the best and most unique experiences we have ever done. We went night snorkeling for lobster and uni and got to eat it fresh on the beach wonderfully prepared by Nick.

Nick is such a professional and his knowledge is really impressive. He made us feel safe and confident in the water and has the perfect balance of reading people and providing knowledge without judgement. I would feel safe in any water with him and his passion for what he does shines through in a way that is so special and makes the experience that much better.

From getting the gear up and down to the beach, getting wetsuits on and off, making sure everyone is safe and competent in the gear in the water, staying warm after getting out of the ocean, to preparing a wonderful lobster and uni treat, Nick really does it all so well and is such a kind and cool person on top of it all. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have an out of the box Southern California experience! We can’t wait to do it again.

Amazing spearfish experience, Nick has a wealth of knowledge and I enjoyed the experience overall. Unfortunately wasn't able to use the spear myself but it was fascinating to see Nick hunt and his whole process.

Nick goes above and beyond to give you a comfortable time. He is thorough in his process and caters the experience to his clients. I love his customer-first approach and look forward to my next adventure with him!

The lobster hunting experience is beyond what we ever could have imagined. Swimming in the water under the stars, amazing bioluminescence, seals swimming around in our flashlights, watching Nick find and catch lobsters and urchin was fascinating, and ending the night with the best lobster dipped in uni butter we have ever eaten. Nick is prepared for all the things to keep everyone safe and comfortable. 5 star experience!

Fantastic adventure! I was fortunate to get in at the last moment and the experience checked a box off that I didn’t knew was there, diving in bioluminescent water. Seriously, it was just like the movie Avatar. Terrific education, equipment, and felt safe diving at night with Nick and the others. I highly recommend Sea Creature Adventures! Nick is both an amazing and dependable as a guide and a human being! I booked the kelp forest spearfishing adventure for my girlfriend and myself. She has a huge fear of open water and doesn’t usually venture out further than waist level water. Nick was able to not only expertly help her get over that fear, but also be there every step of the way for her. Even when she showed a tiny bit of nervousness, he was always close by ready to help.

After the fears subsided we were able to enjoy our time out in the water! Not only did we have fun with the experience, we also learned a lot from Nick who has vast knowledge and experience about the ocean and local marine life under his belt.

As a guide, he’s well-prepared and very helpful while being mindful of everyone’s needs and accommodations.

Overall this experience was wonderful and it felt like just another day casually spending time in the water with a close friend. The atmosphere and views of the beach were breathtaking as well.

Definitely recommend his guided experiences to anybody curious to get over their fears of open water and enjoy what the beaches of Southern California has to offer!
