Driftwood Adventure provided everything we needed for an amazing 4 day canoe trip! He hired the canoe and all necessary gear. Driftwood made it easy and affordable.

We were traveling from the United State and wanted to paddle the Glasgow to Edinburgh Canoe Trail. Since a canoe wouldn’t sit in our carry-on, finding a boat was our biggest obstacle. We reached out to multiple different paddle clubs and canoe companies, and Driftwood was the only one that was able to accommodate.

Driftwood Adventure met us at Speirs Wharf in Glasgow and were flexible to our schedule. They helped us outfit the boat, and even provided extra dry bags (Which were much appreciated). They had even offered to rent us camping gear, but we had our own. 4 days later they picked up the boat in Edinburgh, once again being incredibly flexible with us, accommodating our arrival on the Union Canal.

This turned out to be the trip of a lifetime, and it was all possible because of Driftwood Adventure. After reaching out to so many others we were beginning to think it wouldn’t happen, but it worked out. We are incredibly grateful to Driftwood Adventure for helping us make this happen!

My friend and I were originally set to go sea kayaking but in an email Hugo, one of the co-owners explained the conditions weren't safe for that. We instead went on a guided tour on the Union Canal and it was delightful. Our guide Niall (the other co-owner) was exceptionally friendly but also safety minded, advising us as to what to do should one of the canal boats come cruising by. I highly recommend Driftwood Adventure.

Hugo and the team were incredible! We had a paddleboarding adventure booked for a large hen group and loved every minute. They were very informative and helped us explore the reservoir as well as playing fun games on the water. Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend these guys!! We had Hugo as our instructor out on the lake in a kayaks. Hugo was very patient and a fun instructor which made our experience even better! Laughed from start to finish, will definitely book these guys again!!

What a fab time we had out with Hugo and Naill - thank you both, from encouragement, instruction through to photo staging the whole day was amazing. I’m sure we will be back paddle boarding with you guys soon - we loved it and I would highly recommend it for a fab day out x

Fantastic morning with Hugo on the paddleboards , my husband and I are beginners and felt confident after our lesson and had a great laugh in the process . Hugo was fantastic at giving us loads of helpful information and we are looking forward to coming back for more with our little ones next time.

I can't rate Driftwood highly enough. Watersports were completely out of my comfort zone and I was really nervous about giving it a try. Three lessons and a couple of practice sessions in and I'm absolutely loving canoeing. Niall and Hugo are brilliant instructors - friendly, patient, instructive and supportive. If you've ever thought about giving something like canoeing or kayaking a go but have been a bit nervous to try, you really can't go wrong with these guys.
