The racism you portray is actually the racism you protrude... I am not for CHDC of Waterbury being racist towards ANY Latinos in front of me telling them get back on the boat or they are "fresh off the boat" in layman's terms no. JUST DONT. The hospitality center saved me when I was living in a shelter in recovery trying to stay sober and the hospitality center got me off the streets in a safe sober environment I started volunteering there which helped me with my anxiety to eventually get a job and apartment and I am now a homeowner owner Getting married in three weeks one of the best programs I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much Shakira and Dee Dee for being my mentors and good friends

The Hospitality center is a blessing to all the homeless people . The resources they have are great . The other organizations who give their time and help are wonderful . The staff are very friendly and helpful .This place saved me and my husband when we became homeless . We now have an apartment and a job thanks to the Hospitality and everyone who works there .

This CHD walk-in center is the first point of contact for many homeless people. They offer showers, counseling and referrals to other agencies depending on the situation.

The employees are tireless and hugely grateful for donations of coats, blankets, socks etc.

Great place it helped my wife and I to have a place to go in the winter and off the streets,great staff ,but that's the old building on east main street I heard they burnt down and I hope they reopen
