John is an amazing guide and cheerful guy who made our trip memorable with his kindness and wise instructions. He helped me in making decisions about where to paddle and the right boats to get there. He quickly accommodated our needs as our group was larger than the boats we booked. Best experience ever.

Unbelievably good service for the price.

We got a canoe delivered and picked up to Sauble Fall PP so we could explore the rivers in the area.

It’s a family run business and you can tell that they love connecting people to the outdoors more than the money as they gave us a full extra day with our rental at no charge and did everything at our schedule (we had an awkward arrival & checkout time).
We were helped by John, he has a great sense of humour and in general very good vibes. He gave us extra gear and route suggestions, and paddling tips appropriate for our level in an entertaining way. We really enjoyed the suggested route to the lake.

We had a canoe session booked for Saturday, when we got there the winds were too rough for our comfort. Outervision Tours offered to work around our schedule and weather to find an alternate time to rebook our session. They provided bottles of water, and gave us an extra coat in case it started to rain. Lion's head harbor was a great place to canoe.

John exceeded every expectation for our adventure tour. My family and I are beginners at kayaking but he helped us feel safe on the water and guided the entire experience. He provided healthy snacks and had lots of fun stories to share. I would highly recommend giving John a call if you're in the Bruce Peninsula area and looking for a fun activity with a group of friends, family, or even solo.

What a wonderful experience. The owner was very laid back and kind. He will take a canoe or kayak right to lions head beach for you and come retrieve it after you use it. We had no time limit after we paid. We rented a canoe as we had pur daughter and took our first great lake (it's georgian bay, I know but it might as well be 🙂 ) paddle along the cliffs below lions head. It was beautiful, felt exclusive, and so much fun. Just note if you are looking for his facility you'll see a lot of kayaks and canoes sitting outside a small cafe across from Foodland. Just knock on the cafe door or say hello from the take out window and someone should come. Great experience and I highly recommend to anyone traveling here or local who doesn't own a kayak or canoe.

The canoes my friend rented for us had rusty bolts on the seats. It's understandable for small town businesses to not have capacity to maintain everything.

But I also heard from a girl that her seat with rusty bolts broke mid canoeing. And when she called him about not knowing how to bring the canoe back from across the waters, he yelled at her over the phone and blamed her for the broken seat. There's absolutely a better way to handle this but yelling at a customer who just had a scare in the waters was a poor choice.

He was nice enough to us, but perhaps having some empathy in situations like a broken seat moving forward would be wise.

John's the man! Called this place as we needed an extra kayak. He was ready whenever we were! Super respectful , lots of fun to talk to! Made you feel part of the family ! The prices are the best around and anything you need they will be there to help you out! There's not many companies around that make you feel the way this company did ! We had a great feeling rest of the day with our experience ! I wish this company was closer to our home ! Thanks for everything and we will not use another company ever again when we go down to the cottage !

We loved the Canoeing experience. Our guide was a cheerful wise man who knows his water. (He even packed us some snacks for our trip) My wife and I went on a canoe trip with our 8 year old son in the turquoise waters of lions beach. We will certainly row with Outervison adventures again and recommend it for other explorers as well.
